Exclusive to PrimaryArms.com and Primary Arms authorized dealers.

Primary Arms and Holosun have combined forces to bring you the power of the patent pending ACSS® CQB reticle in a red dot sight for the first time! The problem with dot sights is that a large dot is great up close but less useful at distances beyond 100 yards, because the dot becomes too large to aim with precision. A small dot used in conjunction with a magnifier fixes that problem, but is slower to acquire in close range snap shooting. The ACSS reticle uses a large chevron that the eye picks up very easily for up close shooting. At longer distances, the tip of the chevron is an infinitely small aiming point perfect for taking precise shots.

Using "zero" ranges of 25, 50, or 100 yards, the ACSS BDC is compatible with the following calibers:
  • 5.56 NATO / 5.45x39 from 100 to 600 yards
  • 300 BLK / 7.62x39 from 50 to 450 yards
  • 12 gauge 1 oz. slug from 25 to 150 yards
  • 7.62x54R from 100 to 600 yards
  • 7.62 NATO / .308 Win from 100 to 600 yards
  • 300 BLK 220 gr subsonic from 50 to 150 yards
  • .22LR 40 gr from 50 to 175 yards
  • 9mm carbine 115gr from 25 to 200 yards

The ACSS features three BDC dots underneath the chevron, allowing an unprecedented 600 yards of bullet drop compensation in 7.62 NATO or 5.56 NATO calibers. Auto ranging and wind leads are also incorporated into this smart reticle. A CQB horseshoe grabs the eye instantly for close quarters shooting and also approximates the spread pattern of 00 buckshot at 25 yards. The reticle for this sight is a central 2 MOA dot, centered in a 65 MOA circle with four positioning points. The diameter of the circle reticle represents approximately 5'5" at 100 yards 170cm at 100m.

The HS503G is a proven micro dot sight with an auto-on function that switches on the power with a slight movement of the sight. It comes with a 1913 Picatinny base which is removable, revealing an Aimpoint Micro-compatible base underneath. It also comes with the lower 1/3rd co-witness riser mount shown in the photos.

Good Quality

Holosun quality with the acss. Reticle is a little smooshy, doesn't bother my eyes any. I can see how some people think its too small, works better with a magnifier id assume but I didn't use one. Zero at 100, fed it a few hundred and checked again. Wish I could shoot it more prior to this, but its all solid so far. It was all good, shake awake feature works and overall a quality optic for a fair price. Absolute cowitness with the Primary Arms Slx micro mount was perfect and still has a spacer to get it to lower 1/3rd if you don't like absolute.

Awesome RDO!

I was really on the fence about what optic to choose for this particular build. I really wanted an ACOG, but then came across the HS503G quite by accident. I love this thing. With the 3x magnifier (used to sight it in) on my 14.5" AR, I was able to hit a 2" steel plate @ 100yrds from a supported standing position. Rip the magnifier off, and hits at closer distances are ridiculously fast and easy. Waiting for the ACSS version of the HS507C to be available for my pistol now.

Awesome

All the reviews seems to have been accurate. Awesome red dot!

Not the best

Basically, the acss reticule on this is too small to notice. Just get the other model with the solar power strip. Wished I had gotten that one instead. Have one on my wife's rifle and it's perfect. This one is just a gimmick.

HS503G IS THE REAL DEAL

Primary arms thank you for your quick delivery .. .it’s everything I expected and more you guys are awesome! TEXAS PROUD BABY .... I’ll be a repeat customer for SURE!!!

Love it, with one caveat

by -

I've found that I'm slightly cross eye dominant (or perhaps equal) so switching over to a reddot was a pretty excellent move as I'm finding I have some trouble keeping my front post on my mbus sites sharply in focus. My shooting experience is much easier and relaxed with this, finding the reticle is a snap.

The one caveat I have is that I notice if I turn on my 2,000 lumin oLight on my rifle the reticle essentially disappears if I'm running it at rational brightness level for conditions when the flashlight is off. This means that in a actual home defense situation I would probably want to make sure I run the reticle about three clicks brighter than what I really want during evening hours.

It would be a pretty sweet feature to have it auto adjust brightness especially if it could be done in a "timely" manner. But I realize engineering like that doesn't just happen easily necessarily and that I might, perhaps, be asking for the sun, the moon and the stars here.

Not for astigmatism

by

Bought it because a review I saw said it was good for people with astigmatism. It's not. So why 5 stars on something I can't use and have to return? I can tell it's great in every way. The ACSS reticle is awsome. I have 2 other optics with ACSS reticles that I CAN see with my astigmatism. Not Holosun's or Primary Arm's fault that I have astigmatism. Darn it I want a red dot!

My second one

by -

Nice red dot with ACSS. This is my second one that I put on an AR 15 pistol. My other one is a CZ Scorpion and the sight works great on both.

Pistol build

by -

I saw this Red Dot reviewed by many that I follow. I like the ACSS concept and jumped on one for my pistol build. Great price that fit my budget, and good looking. I like the high and low mounts. Fast shipping! I will report back after a range trip. Thanks PA!

I'm a Holosun Fanboy I guess, I cant help it!

I now own four Holosun HE510C-GR Elite Reflex Sights, one Holosun HS507C Reflex Sight, three HS503G red dot sights with ACSS RETICLE and 2 Holosun 3x magnifiers. You just can't beat a Holosun for the price, functionality, battery life and durability. One of my HS503G sits on a upper with a Leo Takedown that allows me to swap out multiple caliber barrels and the reticle on this sight allows for compensation across all of the calibers I use in this set up. One of my HS503G sits on a PSA AKV and one sits on a AR47 I just finished building. A Brilliant solution for them all. Bomb proof equipment. I'd trust them with my life. END OF THE FANBOY REVIEW, how copy, over and out!
