Additionally, the stock is pillar bedded for an extremely strong lock up between the action and stockaiding in accuracy. This model comes with a 22 inch barrel that is threaded 5/8x24 for use with muzzle brakes and suppressors. The scope included with this .308 rifle is a premium Nikko Stirling 3.5-10x44 scope with a ZEROLOK base and ring. Like other Howa rifles, this comes with a forged, one-piece bolt with dual locking lugs and a two-stage HACT trigger that is light and crisp. A three position safety allows you to remove the bolt while the rifle is safe without having to pull the trigger like older bolt action rifles. The Hogue stock also includes built in sling swivel studs for carrying your rifle in the field.
