Very effective

by -

As advertised; very effective flash hider. Eliminates nearly all flash when tested in full darkness. Installation was on a Colt 14.5" barrel/pinned and welded. Highly recommended if you're looking for an effective flash hider.

Great looking FH

by

I bought this after watching a very informative YT video on the many flash hiders on the market and reading the corresponding article. This scored the lowest emittance of all of them (best score) and I really liked the design. It looks very good installed on my rifle. I was a little nervous as there is another distributor that has only 2 reviews one saying it "rings" like a tuning fork and no reviews anywhere else on the web. However after shooting with the FH I do not have the ringing problem and I am so far very happy with my purchase.I rated it 4/5 due to the dust kick up this FH has when prone. It may only be because I live in AZ so literally a sneeze can kick up a bit of dust. It is installed correctly with a flat side down (imagine an upside down Y). I think the design is just not conducive to prone in very dusty environments like the desert. Another reason for the rating is it is very long (3"+) and weighs quite a bit more than other FHs. I will be keeping it on because of the FH benefits and the aesthetics.
