Worked solid for me with a Faxon gunner barrel.

Paired this bolt carrier with an impulse bought Faxon 16 inch gunner barrel. These two play vary well together and where able to eat Tula and Wolf just fine with no issues do to these components. This not vary well thought out impulse 7.62 X 39 AR upper project of mine came out incredibly well. Way WAY more fun than your run of the mill 5.56.

I purchased this BCG for a build a couple years back and have put about 1,800 rounds through it since. The only ammo I have had any issue with so far has been Tula with "light" primer strikes (in quotations because most of the strikes should have set off the round). I have not been able to find an enhance firing pin yet but have had no issues besides some inconsistencies on Berdan primed rounds (which I believe is more due to bad primers than the BCG/hammer spring). I would definitely recommend this BCG to anyone looking to build a 7.62x39 AR-15.
