Details

The KAK Industries A2 Birdcage flash hider is the old standard by which modern muzzle devices are measured. Combining excellent flash suppression and muzzle climb reduction with a minimal dust signature and blast, the A2 is easily one of the best muzzle devices available on the market.

This 5.56 caliber birdcage is threaded for 1/2x28 barrels. Does NOT include crush washer.

It's an A2 flash hider

Nothing wrong with this as far as quality and function. Only issue is that I am unable to to mount my griffin armament m4sdii silencer as it is slightly oversized. I'll keep looking.

For how cheap it is, it’s actually very nicely machined and finished. It’s worth picking up a few unless they jack up the price. it does not come with a crush washer FYI.

Never spend much more on a flash hider. A2 is by far the best you can use to hide flash until you get into the $100+ mark. This product came in just like much more expensive A2s. Does the job.

Bought two, neither will thread on any barrel.

Basic A2 flash hider. Looks OK, but the threads on both of mine will not mate up to any 1/2x28 threaded barrel I have. I've tried several barrels and on all of them they will thread on about 2 turns and no further. Other flash hiders and thread protectors I have will thread on all of the same barrels without issue. I'll be looking to send these back for a refund.
