The Kalashnikov Amber Wood Edition KP-9 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol is modeled after the Russian Vityaz submachine gun but designed for civilian use. Each AK-style pistol is made in the United States and uses a blowback operating system to keep the weapon compact and easy to carry. They have a 9.25" barrel chambered in 9x19mm and accept Kalashnikov USA 30 and 10-round magazines. The hinged top cover has a Picatinny rail for adding optics and accessories, and specially designed feed ramps allow the use of jacketed hollow point bullets. The KP-9 pistol is easily convertible to a short-barreled rifle (SBR) under approval from the ATF. The Kalashnikov KP-9 is a highly reliable, high-performance pistol that's compact enough for close-quarters engagement and great for long-range targets over 600 feet. The Amber Wood Edition features wood furniture to give this modern pistol a more traditional look.
