The KE Arms GI Parts Kit is a complete AR-15 lower parts kit. It features every part you need to assemble a bare lower receiver for your custom AR-15 or M4 build. The GI Parts Kit by KE Arms provides a trigger guard, pistol grip, fire control group, match catch assembly, buffer retainer, bolt catch assembly and take down/pivot pin assemblies. The trigger guard offers an enhance polymer winter trigger guard with roll pin and set screw. Buy something else.

Would not recommend. The mag release would not even fit into the lower. I tried filing down the mag release bar, but just could not get the thing to fit into the slot. Also, the takedown pin, specifically the rear, is extremely stiff and requires a punch in order to release. Overall I am just not impressed by this kit and would not order it again. Besides that the kit appears to be functional, so I won't 1 star it, but I have to go purchase a replacement magazine release in order to complete my lower which is unacceptable in my book. My prior build with a PSA lower parts kit went together like butter and works perfect...

minor issue

Had a minor issue with this kit. I had a hell of a time trying to install pivot pin detent and spring. For some reason the spring is too stiff and won't allow the pin to go inside. i swapped out to an aero spring and was able to finish the build easy. anderson kit is cheaper and better quality.

Low quality handgrip

As usually PA shipping is lightning fast ,but the handle on this order is junk quality. It appears to be two tone AND rough as a Cobb. Not happy with the purchase.

Some bad metallurgy

Was looking forward to installing this parts kit but it has issues. One leg of the hammer spring is significantly bent while attempting to install the fire control group but still seems to have just enough force when dry firing. The mag catch was bent while screwing it onto the mag release button. I noticed it was bent right at the top of the threads of the mag catch which has never happened to me before even with CMMG parts kits.

At that point I was hesitant to use the provided bolt catch and ended up using a spare one I had in a spare parts bin. I didn’t use the polymer trigger guard either and instead used a spare standard trigger guard.

I hope this was just a bad apple out of crates of good ones.

Don't Buy

Front detent spring looks like it is a different wire gauge than my Aero parts kit. Made it so the front take down pin detent would not recess all the way to be able to install the pin. Had to use an oops kit spare to remedy. Go with Aero or Anderson.
