BUY IT! DO IT!

It’s amazing for me as a lefty. Button drop in absolutely the most perfect spot, doesn’t stick out too far and it doesn’t wear at all against the lower. Already have two, will be buying more. Besides, it’s Knights! It’s worth it!
A good option for left handed shooters
I purchased this ambi-mag release for my mil-spec DPMS lower which I use for work. I am a left handed shooter and ran this mag release for about a year, which overall I was happy with the performance. One thing I noticed is the actual pad which you press to release the magazine sits pretty far back. Having larger hands, I found myself having to work my trigger finger back awkwardly and didn’t allow me to apply much pressure at times.
I ran it with a Geissele Maritime bolt catch which worked fine, but had to remove my Elftmann trigger pin kit. I don’t see this mag release working with many, if any, trigger pin kits.
As far as the cold weather button, i wouldn’t recommend it if you’re using it for work/duty. We had another guy (also lefty) run it for about a day before changing it to the standard mag release button, as during transitions, and when letting the weapon hang, the button would seem to hit against equipment and inadvertently release the magazine.
