TOO TALL 4 SKS - PLASTIC BROKE OFF

by

YA HAVE TO WONDER WHY THEY JUST DID NOT COPY THE ORG. AK/SKS SIGHT ? - THE PLASTIC KRAP BROKE OUT AND THE SIGHT IS 5-7mm's TOO TALL IN MY SKS. MAKE THE THREADS LIKE RUSSIA DID THEN YOU HAVE A BETTER FRONT SIGHT.

Great products. Easier acquisition for targets. Couldn't be more pleased. Primary arms has one of the best customer services. Thank you for answering questions that made it easier to make a decision.

Great sight.

Here's the skinny. The .052 sight is what you want if you're over 45 years old. The smallest one would be too small. I used a Dykem paint marker in orange on the ball and then outlined the rear sight notch in white. What a difference. As far as being too short. Bullshit. Mine threaded into an 80's and factory 26 1964 SKS no problem with plenty of room to spare on a 100 yard zero. As far as bending it. Bulls***. As long as you use the proper front sight tool and a little patience, it will be fine.

Nice sight!!

Big difference over standard mil-spec ak post sight. Easier to focus on target and keep in those smaller bullseyes from a distance.. also a dot of bright white paint isnt a bad idea either.
