Nice AR Upgrade, Recommended!

Bought and installed 2 sets already, thinking about 3 more. These pins operate and look much better than the OEM junk. The 1st set installed (S&P15) wasn’t too difficult, the Pivot pin was easier than the Takedown. The tool (comes with the set) that fits into the pin slot probably could be a little thicker. Once I went to turn the OEM pin for removal, the detent would snag on the channel. I had to use some pliers to force the Takedown pin to turn. The 2nd set was a little easier, it barely snagged, still used the pliers though (New Frontier Billet lower). Also, the takedown pin (when pushing it in) will catch slightly about midway, this appears to be an added safety feature, in case it's accidentally pushed in it won’t move all the way. This isn’t a big deal, I kind of like it. One of the best features is you don’t need to mess with the buffer tube, etc. to swap out the takedown pin, saves some headache. They are a little pricey, however you get what you pay for.
Look good but they are just that. For looks

Matching and finish quality is excellent. Extended pins are easy to grasp. Look sharp. One warning though. These are for looks only. I am removing them from my build because they could cost you your life in a stressful situation. If you accidentally rotate pin as it pulled it can pop off. I would reorder from Lantac if they offered same pins with Mil-Spec detent slots.
