The LaRue Tactical MBT-2S trigger for the AR-15 easily replaces your boring MIL-SPEC trigger with a precision machined masterpiece built right here in Texas. Unlike the competition, the MBT-2S two stage trigger has been cut from premium S7 tool steel offering incredible consistency with a glass-smooth break you can depend on. The MBT-2S features a 2.5 lb first stage take up with a crisp 2 lb second stage break straight out of the package, but includes a heavy trigger spring to push the total pull up to 6 lbs for duty use. Push your accuracy to the next level with the LaRue Tactical MBT-2S trigger with flat bow for the AR-15/M16.
Note: This trigger is only compatible with small pin lower receivers with MIL-SPEC .154" trigger pins.

Solid Product

Smooth pull to a firm but not stiff wall, smooth clean break and a crisp reset. I would recommend this for any build or replacement. I bought several of these and used the "Heavy" spring on one and it is just as good with a noticeable difference when you hit the wall, but I didn't change it out because I liked it on the build it went in. Easy drop in to swap or install and a nice package to keep your old or mil sec trigger in if you dont want to dispose of it.
Price went up and manufacturing goes down

This trigger was $99 and skeletonized. Now solid flat bow with less tooling? I guess LaRue is like most companies. They want more for less. The previous product was great. I was here to buy another one but will look elsewhere.

Great trigger and well priced! Only grip is this one not machined in the middle of the bow like my first one! Recommend highly

If it’s an AR rifle, then the LaRue trigger belongs in it. I’ve got four ARs, and all have the MBT. Curved or straight is your choice, but you won’t get any better performance out of any other trigger, no matter how much you pay for it. Truly the definition of “maximum value for the money”.

These triggers are the best bang for your buck. Sadly this one isn’t skeletonized like my previous 2. Which I bought those 2 directly from Larue. Not a deal breaker. It’s just aesthetically pleasing. The break and reset is no different than a Gizzly trigger. Literally the same trigger! I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. But these triggers are literally the best value. You get that Gizzly performance with half the cost! You won’t be disappointed in it if you get it I assure you.
Just as good as Geissele and half the price.

I'm an unashamed trigger snob, I bought my first AR in 1976 and have tried dozens of triggers over the years including several Geisseles. This LaRue is just as good or better than all of them and relatively inexpensive. I automatically put one in every new AR get.

One of the best triggers

I replaced my janelle with one of these. I've never had any safety compatibility issues with these triggers unlike the jizelle. This trigger is a little heavier pull, and indiscernibly longer on the reset than my other one but much crisper. You can feel it's s7 tool steel compared to the MIM triggers. This straight trigger is an awesome shape too. Sometimes the gazelle is only $50 more, it may be worth it on a DMR for the lower pull, this trigger I like better though.
