A really great Bipod system

by -

These bipod legs are great. They are easy to use. They have indexed notches approximately every inch, but you can use the twist knob to lock in between notches for uneven surfaces. This is the only thing preventing a full five stars, however I'm not sure how they would accomplish the tilt adjustment any easier. My bipod is mounted on an AR 308 with 13.5 rail and 20" barrel with a muzzle break. When the legs are pushed forward while carrying with a sling, the rubber feet may get burned or melted if you have to fire quickly in a hunting situation.
<br> I wouldn't get the shorter version for an AR 308 because It's barely high enough to shoot prone without adjusting to a taller position. They are really strong, light, and tuck out of the way for toting the rifle over the shoulder while hiking. I would recommend this to anyone planning to shoot prone from a rifle with an M-lok handguard. It is also an excellent value.
