The Leupold BackCountry line is made to accommodate a low-profile, lightweight profile for the most rugged hunting-style mounts available.  Available in both cross-slot and ring mount styles, the BackCountry base and ring combos are designed to suit any firearm you may take out in the field. Made for a low profile, easy mount that lasts, the front base locks securely into place. These base sets are fluted for a custom look on each firearm, and are perfect if the user needs a greater level of flexibility when considering mounting options for a hunting-style rifle. Aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum provides lightweight strength with a milled in recoil lug and low-profile keeper screw. The BackCountry 2-piece is suitable for both left and right hand actions and are manufactured to withstand heavy use and adjustment. A traditionally machined style and detail profile also features and integrated base and ring, allowing this model to fit specific rifle receivers. Shims can also be used to adjust gross elevation as needed, as it reserves the scope’s elevation adjustment for drop compensation. Leupold has designed this base set with every shot, shooter, and change in elevation in mind. This set includes the 30 mm scope rings. Made in the USA.
