Made for a low profile, easy mount that lasts, the front base locks dovetail rings securely into place. These base sets are fluted for a custom look on each firearm, and are perfect if the user needs a greater level of flexibility when considering mounting options for a bolt action rifle. Because of the sturdy steel design, there is significantly less risk of damage as there are no additional pieces or hinges that add liability to some scope mounts. The STD 2-piece is suitable for both left and right hand actions and are manufactured to withstand heavy use and adjustment, giving the user additional options in both scoping and positioning. The Leupold 2-Piece Standard Base for rifles has a windage ring on the rear base that allows for sighting correction in left and right increments as needed, furthering the flexibility of this model.
