Details

The LMT 5.56 3 Prong Flash Hider doesn’t just look awesome—it really does outshine a lot of similar 3-prong competitors. LMT’s sleek, futuristic lines serve to greatly reduce muzzle flash and ringing. Flash reduction on this muzzle device is fantastic, which is to be expected of an LMT product. The kicker comes with the ring reduction, which can be an issue with similarly designed flash hiders. Pronged flash hiders tend to resonate like a tuning fork once fired, and it takes unique innovation to reduce this lasting chime, which can be a major annoyance. LMT’s fine exterior cuts cause the prongs to vibrate at differentiated intervals, reducing that bothersome buzz.

Features:
  • Fine Cuts reduce weight and resonant ringing
  • Dramatic flash reduction
  • Sleek, eye-catching design
  • For 5.56-caliber rifles with 1/2x28 thread pattern

But, we all should be honest with ourselves: it looks cool as heck. Comes in a beautiful black coat and fits all standard 5.56 (.223) 1/2x28 thread pattern muzzles.

Works awesome so far!

Purchased this about two months ago, had a bit of trouble trying to index it just right with the standard crush washer so I ended up buying the JP adjustment shims and installed them without the standard washer. Every barrel is different though. Otherwise if you dont shoot prone too often or next to your buddies this flash hider us baddass and work's awesome at flash suppression. In my opinion it works better than my 4 pronger or surefire QD. It works okay against muzzle rise but that's not what it's designed for. Its decent for driving recoil back into my shoulder and price is very competitive compared to other brands. I cannot attest for durability and I hope I don't drop my rifle directly onto it but if I do I hope it will stand up to the abuse.
