LMT Crush Washer - 1/2x28

The LMT Crush Washer 1/2x28 is designed to be used to install flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and any other attachment on the end of your barrel. This crush washer is designed to work with any barrel with 0.750" outer diameter with 1/2x28 threads per inch.

Rifles can perform better with flash hiders and muzzle brakes. One of the benefits of a flash hider, also known as a flash suppressor or flash guard, is it reduces its visible signature while firing by cooling or dispersing the burning gases that exit the muzzle. These are most used on carbine length guns including the pistol caliber carbine. Not all flash hiders perform the same way so be particular in purchasing.

A muzzle brake is a recoil compensator that redirects a portion of the gases being expelled to counter recoil. Muzzle brakes are known for keeping the carbine flat when shooting.

Crush washers assist with installing a brake or hider on the end of a barrel. Most brakes and hiders have to be aligned one specific way on a barrel and a crush washer helps them to line up perfectly.
