The Adaptable Carbine Stock - Light is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR-15/M4 carbines with MIL-SPEC receiver extensions. This streamlined version of the ACS removes the battery tubes for a slimmer, lighter package yet retains the center storage compartment and cheek weld.
NOTE: Friction lock performance may vary depending on the host receiver extension dimensional tolerances.

Great looking piece

Looks great, nice little storage compartment I can put a spare battery in for the scope. The friction lock alone is what sets this apart, feels like a fixed stock!

Overall great quality and fit. I got what I expected from this stock. It was a nice right fit without play and the storage was decent. Cheek weld could be a bit higher but not bad. I would purchase this again for future builds.
A little too mcuh altered ACS for my taste

Primary Arms was awesome as ever, very fast shipping and a good price.The stock itself was missing what I liked most about the regular ACS (which I had on another configuration in FDE), which was the shape and the cheek weld. With the ACS-L to lighten it up they removed the battery storage tubes, but in doing that they also reduced the surface area for the cheek weld. While some might not care and the minor loss in some weight a big gain I was not all impressed and wished I had went after the original ACS stock instead, which felt better in my opinion. I ended selling this sideways to a fellow shooter and picking up a UBR from primary arms, now I am REALLY impressed.
