The Adaptable Carbine Stock - Light is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR-15/M4 carbines with MIL-SPEC receiver extensions. This streamlined version of the ACS removes the battery tubes for a slimmer, lighter package yet retains the center storage compartment and cheek weld.
NOTE: Friction lock performance may vary depending on the host receiver extension dimensional tolerances.

First Magpul product and like it a lot. Much, much better than the standard stock that came on my M&P 15. At first a little loose on a BCM mil spec extension tube but tightened up with the friction lock engaged.

I love the ACS but never really used the battery tubes. The ACS-L makes it perfect. Fit is tight even without use of the secondary lock. Very tight and nice fit. Love it!

Great Stock, but...

The QD cup that it comes with was meant for the full size ACS with the side battery tubes. If you don't want your face cut up by the QD cup or your sling when shooting, then you will have to order the smaller QD cup, the Type 2 sling mount kit.

This magpul stock is awesome, they reduced some of the bulk and weight by ditching the storage cylinders. Fit is nice and tight with the friction lock, very solid, no wiggle. And Primary Arms shipped very fast, ordered Friday eve and recieved Monday afternoon!!!
