The Magpul AFG-2 is a slimmer version of the original Angled Fore Grip. With a reduced overall length and width, the AFG-2 is compatible with a broader range of railed handguards and works more effectively with rail covers and accessories. Designed for use with 1913 Picatinny rails, this Magpul Angled Grip provides a stable, ergonomic grip that reduces fatigue and improves overall weapon control. By positioning your hand higher along the bore’s centerline, it helps manage recoil and enhances accuracy, enabling faster and more precise follow-up shots. Proudly made in the USA.

I bought this Magpul AFG for an AR build that I've been working on finishing up. This thing is great and really helps you get a comfortable firm grip on my UTG Super Slim Free Float Rail. You really only need a rail that has a few slots on it to attach the AFG but if you want the extra security of a longer rail then get a Magpul polymer 11 slot L5 rail for a perfect fit without any extra rail on either end. Great product and much more comfortable than either holding the rail or using a vertical grip.

I use this fore-grip at work daily. It is extremely comfortable, and easy to use. I also have one on a 10" sbr that works amazing. I rely on it a lot to keep my hand in a safe location during quick shooting and cqb. I use it for barricades as well. It's tough and small enough not to get hung up on any kit or additional gear. Geat product!

I had an AFG 1 before and found it too wide & long. Replaced it with the AFG2 and find that the further out on the handgaurd it is placed the better.
