The Magpul AFG-2 is a slimmer version of the original Angled Fore Grip. With a reduced overall length and width, the AFG-2 is compatible with a broader range of railed handguards and works more effectively with rail covers and accessories. Designed for use with 1913 Picatinny rails, this Magpul Angled Grip provides a stable, ergonomic grip that reduces fatigue and improves overall weapon control. By positioning your hand higher along the bore’s centerline, it helps manage recoil and enhances accuracy, enabling faster and more precise follow-up shots. Proudly made in the USA.

I should have tried one out before I ordered it - my mistake!This is a good product, no issues with quality, ete. just as you would expect from Magpul.I just don't like the angle of the grip - in fact I think it's horrible - but that's just me.
Great Alternative to Vertical Grips

I purchased this because I occasionally use a bipod and swap it out for a vertical foregrip depending on what type of shooting I'm doing. The vertical foregrip was not comfortable and I wanted something that was more ergonomic and contributed to my posture rather than a grip that detracted from it.
Comfortable Grip

I like this grip because it allows my hand to grip the rail at a more natural angle so it's more comfortable. Like all Magpul products this thing is solid. Only complaint is it fit the rail very tight and I had to use a hammer to tap it on.
Nice grip

I like the grip much better than a standard vertical grip as this one is more inline with your natural hand position if you were holding a rifle without anything. I was an extremely tight fit though. I had to hammer it down the slide with a mallot. I could have been designed a little better like being able to put it together on the rail and then screw it together. Instead the way it's made you really dont even need the screws because it can't come apart once its on the rail. If you get one you'll see what I mean.NOT a quick detach at all! Overall I still like it better

I like the feel some don't. I don't think I'd use it on less than a mid length as it feels best for longer reach out the barrel. I do think it gives you better control and a thumbs over grip on your fore end.

I have this grip on my other builds and I love it. It is a natural way to grip the weapon and gives great maneuverability without being too big and bulky to get in the way. Great grip.
What I was looking for

I had been debating on getting this product for a while now and I couldn't be happier I finally got it. Using it on a MI SS Gen 2 12" rail. The rail is very narrow and heats up quickly. I wanted a barrier for the heat and always liked the idea on the grip position it provided. Exactly what I was after and seems like it will take a beating and keep functioning.
