The Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point allows a wide range of motion providing ambidextrous weapon manipulation. Compatible with push-button quick disconnect sling swivels, the ASAP-QD replaces the standard AR-15/M4 carbine stock receiver end plate.
NOTE: The ASAP is not compatible with A1/A2 fixed stocks.

Better then others

I've put something similar to this on all my builds. Started off using the Noveske, and then went on to other similar in type models. This one is $10 more, but a much better design. Magpul was a bit late to the game with this, but the end plate has more mass, which makes me feel a little more warm and fuzzy about the QD staying solidly in the slot. The others I’ve used seemed to be a hole in the end plate with a small lip added to space the QD properly. This has significant weight and density to the QD opening, which probably will allow it to take a bit more of a butt kicking. Also there is a bit of an angle to the slot which allows for the stock to be closed without impinging the detaching/attaching of the sling like other models I’ve used in the past. Going forward, this will be my QD end plate for all my builds.
