The Magpul MBUS Back-Up Sight is a low-cost, color injection molded, folding back-up sight. Specifically tailored to the AR-15/M16 platform, the dual aperture MBUS Rear Sight is adjustable for windage and fits most 1913 Picatinny rail equipped weapons.

- ~0.7 MOA (0.754"/100m) per click with a 14.5" sight radius
- ~0.5 MOA (0.547"/100m) per click with a 20" sight radius
- Impact resistant polymer construction
- Spring-loaded flip up sight
- Detent and spring pressure keeps sight deployed
- Compatible with most Picatinny receiver rails
- Provides the same height-over-bore as standard A2 irons
- Protective wings shield the dual, same plane flip apertures
- Sight may be folded with either large or small aperture in position
- Detent knob easily and positively adjusts windage
- Height - Stowed: ~0.51”
- Center of aperture to top of rail: 1.42”

Back up sights

Sights are perfect for exaclty what they are... back ups. These are not $300 iron sights, they are back ups for if optics fail. Perfect what they are

These are a well made product, as one would expect from Magpul. The Gen 2 is shorter that my first gen Mbus sights and have alignment marks for your windage adjustment.
Great for the money

These are great sites for the cost. I was looking for something inexpensive for my "beater" AR and these fit the bill. I prefer MWI or PRI sight but these MBUS really are a nice unit!
MBUS for me!

This is my second MBUS purchase. I love these things. Low profile, lightweight, quiet. The best part is not having to change the aperture when folding the site. This thing is well thought out and truly delivers for a fraction of the price of other Back up sites. So it's plastic...BIG DEAL! It's from Magpul, so you know it's good. A lot of folks were leary going with PMAGS and those plastic feed lips. Quick question, how are those working out for you? Exactly.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Locks up tight, flips up super fast, positive retention when locked down, easily on of the lightest sights available, very easy to actuate the release, zeros accurately, fits under my optics and magnifiers, and last but not least: cool looking design. I only wish the switching to between cqb and long range peeps was redesigned the but I'm not marking off because I was taught to use the small peep regardless if need arises and my optic fails. As always PA performance was flawless. Another great product from a great company distributed by awesome small business!
