The Magpul MBUS Back-Up Sight is a low-cost, color injection molded, folding back-up sight. Specifically tailored to the AR-15/M16 platform, the dual aperture MBUS Rear Sight is adjustable for windage and fits most 1913 Picatinny rail equipped weapons.

  • ~0.5 MOA (0.547"/100m) per click with a 20" sight radius

Great Back-up Sight

This is a great back-up sight. The color matches all Magpul FDE functions flawlessly holds zero and enjoys positive firm sight adjustment. The concern of these being polymer instead of metal is one that I hear a lot but something I feel to be unfounded. If your budget keeps you from dropping over $100 per sight this is the one for you.

I'm not sure why people are complaining about the roll pins coming out. Haven't seen that happen in 500 rounds. Great backup sights for the money. Got the rear for $40 and the front for $25 in FDE. Primary Arms is by far better than most retailers, especially PSA in many areas including customer service and fulfillment/shipping.

I love this sight. Whether its on a rifle with the other Magpul front sight or just paired with the standard carbine front sight/gas block this functions flawlessly. There when you need it, with a click of a button, out of sight when you don't. Great for pairing with optics. Oh, and the price is unreal for these things too!
