The Magpul Original Equipment Stock is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR-15/M16 carbines using Mil-Spec receiver extensions. Designed for light, fast action the streamlined A-frame profile avoids snagging and shields the release latch to prevent accidental activation. Includes a standard 0.30" thick rubber butt-pad which provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage even with body armor or modular gear. This lightweight polymer rifle stock is the perfect upgrade to your standard AR-15.

Made the switch

I have started using MOE stocks instead of the CTR due to the slightly lighter weight and only marginally less tight fit. It being cheaper is not a bad thing either. Primary arms was perfect again!

Great upgrade stock for Ruger AR556

I bought this stock for my new Ruger AR556. Installation was easy, fit and finish is great. It's a good upgrade from the factory stock. You can't beat the shipping time and customer service from Primary Arms.
