The Magpul PMAG 40 GEN M3 is a durable, reliable 40-round polymer magazine designed for AR-15/M4 compatible weapons chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its impact and crush-resistant polymer construction is built to withstand wear and tear, ensuring its longevity. This magazine features constant curve internal geometry and an anti-tilt, self-lubricating follower, which helps with reliable feeding. It also has a long-life USGI-SPEC stainless steel spring that contributes to its durability and functionality. The magazine's rear has a redesigned bolt catch notch that provides increased bolt catch clearance, while the over-travel stop on the spine helps prevent over-insertion on compatible weapons.
The Magpul PMAG 40 GEN M3 is designed to be slim for better compatibility with tight magazine pouches. It also has low profile ribs, aggressively textured front and rear surfaces for positive control, and a paint pen dot matrix on the magazine's bottom panel for easy marking.

These things are awesome. Period. Only slightly larger than the regular 30rd PMAG, and a whole lot smaller than other 50-60rd magazine options, while being quite more reliable than those other options.

This mag feeds fine and is very comparable to the 30rd version however it is much longer and heavier also it is slightly more loose fiting in my bushmaster lower compared to standard mags

What else is there to say, service is the absolute tops from PA and the mag is pretty nice too. The only thing I would ding PA is the 1 mag limit right now, wish it was two mags.
