Waste of time

The product is too stiff to use. I could not get them on my quad rail despite applying significant pressure. I tried heat them up to soften the material but that did not work either

Very tight fit with these on my Midwest Industries rail. Used a blow dryer to heat them up to make them more malleable and they went on fairly easy. Very sturdy and not going anywhere.

Got one of these to cover parts of my top rail. Once you let it soak in hot water, it's very easy to trim to size and fit on your rail. Can't skip that step, or it won't want to fit.
Overall it's a decent cover, but the edges are pretty sharp - the corners and the sides all dig into my bare hand pretty bad. With gloves on it's not so bad, but it also digs into gloves and will wear them out faster than they should.
I'm sure this panel is good if you have a quad rail and need to cover all sides, but as a stand alone panel the edges make it tough on the hands. I'm going to have to sand them down or carefully melt them to smoothen them out.
It's definitely a biproduct from the cheap plastic molding they use to make these. These are 100% plastic btw, I read somewhere they were rubberized and that's not correct, they are just textured plastic.
