Details

The original Magwell Grip! The MWG converts the magazine well into a comfortable vertical grip for better control of the weapon. Allows a tight stance for speed and maneuverability. Prevents pressure on non-free-floating handguards that can affect accuracy. Keeps hands off the magazine. The MWG also functions as a flared and extended magazine well to speed reloads. Has a window to view your serial number through. Fits MIL-SPEC M16, M4 and AR-15 lowers.

Watch out if you have a bulky machined billet trigger guard. These are really design to work with mil spec 'flat plate' trigger guards. In have a strike industries guard and had to do some fitting/filing...but again, where is the fun if everything is drop in..

Nice product once installed

Definitely took some fitment to get this on my AR. I had to file and grind the grip to get it installed correctly. Once on, works and feels perfect for me.

doesn't fit lowers with flared mag wells. doesn't flow with the existing lines and contours of a standard low. product is built well and looks good. may work with some trimming and filing.

great idea, needs some work

This grip is built strong, but there are a few things to know. its some what comfortable, if it had four finger grooves it would be better. DOES NOT WORK WITH A GEN 3 MAG, I tried to file it down, you probably could get it to work but I gave up. MAKO group has the right idea just not quite there yet. Primary Arms did a good job shipping!!

Not so great.

Requires tinkering to fit certain lowers, so be prepared to do some fine-tuning. That’s no big deal, but, once on it is still problematic with certain common mags. It goes an overstuffed feel with gen-3 PMags...you will have to slap in hard, and pull vigorously to remove. Also, it totally blocks a D-60 drum, so if you’re using a drum, you’ll find yourself removing this completely.

STOP THIS WILL NOT FIT WITHOUT CUTTING AND GRINDING

Horrible! Tried to put it on 3 different ARs and it wont fit correctly unless I cut it with a drimel tool. If someone made this as a rubber sleeve it would be great.

Easy fitment.

Maybe I just got lucky, but this fit so well on my rifle that I'm ordering another. It would be nice to have a rubberised grip, but this suffices. Not for all of my rifles, but for others it's a nice addition.
