Details

The Gen 2 AK Side Mount quickly attaches to AKM receiver pattern rifles with a built-in receiver interface. This mount places the optic on the center line over the dust cover on Mil-Spec rifles, or extremely close to the center line on other models of the AK. Featuring a modular design, the mount top may be exchanged for another of a different type, for a different optic compatibility. Additional mount tops sold separately. This mount uses a highly refined quick-detach lever, offering the smoothest functioning QD on the market with an excellent return-to-zero.

Doesn't have mounting screws

I got this side mount to use with a TA44. It does not coming with any mounting screws and the screw that comes with the TA44 does not fit.

I have not used the mount yet, but that is because not one screw was included with the mount. I saw the other review on this mount so I asked about the screws. PA told me that MI said that early on they messed up and did not include them but that now they are included with the mount. I am awaiting a reply from MI to see if they can send some to me.

MI is superior

So this mount is very good! It is superior to the RS mount in my opinion. It is more solid and locks up more securely. The screws are supposed to come with the mount but mine did not show up. So I emailed MI and they sent them to me no questions asked. I will only buy AK mounts from MI from now on. They are just that good and easy to use!
