The Nighthawk Custom 1911 Grip Safety is a premium upgrade for your 1911 pistol. Nighthawk Custom produces the highest quality drop-in parts available on the market. This drop-in beavertail grip safety is a great way to improve the function, feel and look of your favorite 1911 pistol. It is Fully Machined™ from 416 stainless steel billet providing the durability and reliability you would expect from a Nighthawk Custom drop-in part. The steel grip safety provides improved durability and extends the service life over stock offerings. It features a beavertail that promotes a high grip and comfortably rests the gun in the web of the hand. The high hand grip limits muzzle rise and offers a natural fit resulting in less hand manipulation and a more accurate shot. A hammer spur pocket allows the spur of a fully cocked hammer to sit sub-flush with the top of the safety. A memory pad at the bottom of the grip safety helps ensure repeatable drawing from a holster and consistent grip on the pistol. A .250” radius allows for proper fit on most 1911 models. Installation is simple, requiring only minor fitting and offers an instant upgrade to your 1911 pistol.
