Nightstick designed this charger to be mounted on a surface to securely house their Nightstick XPR-5580R, XPR-5580G, and XPR-5581RX Rechargeable Intrinsically Safe Dual-Light Lanterns. Nightstick’s rechargeable lights are a tool that you can use for a variety of situations, so you want to make sure they’re available when you need them and that they are fully charged. The 5580-CHGR2 replacement charger does not come with AC or DC power cords but can easily be paired with either to charge the lantern.
