Great 9mm AR bolt.

by -

I needed a 9mm bolt carrier with a hollow rear end for a JP Enterprises captive spring on a Maxim Defense buffer (shorter than a normal carbine buffer tube). The Odin Works 9mm bolt was a fair price at the time and I could clearly see a roll pin holding the weight plug in the back of the bolt carrier in the pictures. Arrived, roll pin punched-out, and hit the range. No cycling problems. Blasted through 200 9mm rounds quickly without a hiccup. I noticed the gas key stub is a unique shape. The "cut" on the bottom-side is the same exact pattern as the BCG from a Troy M5 9mm carbine and a New Frontier 9mm (note that both the Troy M5 carbine and New Frontier 9mm BCGs have a rear BCG weight plug that makes the entire BCG about 3/4" shorter when removed). Ran a normal AR15 trigger with the Odin Works bolt, no interference. No light strikes. Ran 124gr and 147gr ammo. Definitely Glock mag compatible
