Good balance on fast target acquisition and far target engagement

by -

I purchased this scope back in December, and have taken it to the range mounted on a 18in 223 wylde AR15 a dozen times. The glass is very impressive at this price point; I think the light transmission is above 90%, and there is no edge blurring. The reticle lines and center dot are large enough to enable fast target acquisition while still shooting sub-MOA groups. With hand loads, my gun with this scope is shooting 3/4 inch or better groups at 100 yards and 2 inch groups at 300 yards.

Great scope for Money!!!!

I bought this scope to place on my Colt HBAR. I put it in my Larue LT104 and headed to the range. Started at 25 to get on paper. I put the scope at 1 power for the 25. I was on paper and centered but high at 25. I dialed it down 2 1/2 inches and headed to the 100. I put her on 6 power and dialed it in for a final zero.

I shot 20 rounds of Federal 77 grain HPBT at 100 yards. It shot a one inch group which is pretty good with the stock trigger in the HBAR.

I love the ACSS Reticle and the accuracy of the optic.

The only downfall is the brightness is not daylight bright even at the highest setting. But for a sub $400 scope that can be expected.

** If it was daylight bright it would be 5 Stars for sure **

From PA: Glad you like your scope! You may want to try a fresh battery. Scope illumination isn't designed to be as bright as a red dot optic due to power requirements, but we are able to see the illumination outdoors on a sunny day. Some backgrounds may benefit from the black etched reticle in some conditions.

My First Optic Ever For My First Rifle Ever

Finally got to take this to the range! Works great! Lighting is great and the range of brightness are great from no to bright light. Caps snap on and off great and feel nice when they click. Expect a solid pound!
(Also expect your rifle to look extremely sexy.)

Zooming the optic (for my rifle is odd at the least, i have to use an index finger and thumb, pointing my rifle upward, to get the best grip to twist from 1 to 6 and back.

This thing feels like it can take a drop. As a matter of fact, Demitri has a video or two torture testing these products.

While at the range i sighted for 25 yards and while I, myself was off target, i put a 3 finger gap though where my rounds had impacted. Needless to say...The chevron tip was awesome! One is able to refocus on the tip so quickly, its a really nice optic.

If you're on the fence, pull the trigger!

There is a video youtube that breaks down the reticle on this scope really well. The ACSS reticle is amazing. If you line up at 600 you hit at 600. Same back up to zero. I put it on a Colt LE6920 and my 9 yo can hit a torso target at 600 with it. Can't say enough good stuff about the optic. Yeah if it is bright and sunny outside it's hard to see if the reticle is on or not. But when it's that bright out you really don't need the illuminated reticle. Kick it on at 1 power in your house and you have a red dot you can use with two eyes open. As described in the video it is not a precision shooting scope. The cross section will cover a clay pigeon at 500 yards. You can still shoot an 8'' group at 500 yards.

A great optic at a great price

After more that 1500 rounds with this optic it has held up great. I currently have it on an AR pistol with a 12.5in BCM barrel. Despite it being calibrated for a 16in barrel the retical and glass clarity make it easy to make longer shots with a short AR. Further more, the chevron aiming point is incredibly precise, I even put down a .75MOA group with this optic. It has survived not only basic bumps and dings, but also kept zero after drop testing the trigger on my AR pistol. All in all, is not the best scope out there, but the retical and the good quality glass make for a stellar option at the price.

DO IT

Just Recently purchased this scope and wow am I amazed by the glass clarity and the reticle as well super happy to have purchased this. Idk why people bring up other optics if you wanted to spend 1-2k for an optic then do it already and leave these good priced optics to me lol.

Incredible!

Comparing to my 1200 ffp raptor 1-6, and I must say the Raptors just as clear. At least to my eyes. I need a little more time with it to know for sure, but incredible lpvo even compared to a $1k scopes!

Best 1x6 for the money

by

At only 1000 rounds so far. Extremely clear glass edge to edge. Illumination is good. Only complaint is battery life. If you leave it on full power brightness over night it will die 😂

Scope good

Really enjoying it so far. Very nice glass. Feels solid to me but I haven't abused it yet. It gets decently bright but I'm in gloomy WA, your mileage may vary out in the desert. Only complaint i have is the first 3 brightness settings are pretty useless, even in pitch black. Maybe they are for night vision but It's not mentioned anywhere that I can see and I don't have Nods to test it. brightness 11 gets pretty bright but maybe not red dot bright. Hasn't been an issue for me. FFP scopes are magic

life saver of astigmatism

by -

weeks ago, I had an attempted break in, but dude failed to enter my place, i was lucky. However, ever since that, I kept flashing back abt the mistakes i made that day.
1. forgot to turn on my eotech.
2. can't find my glasses, so when I look into my eotech, 1/3 of the window is in red mass.
After extensive research, I decided to start with PA 1-6 ffp
1. of course, unlike eotech, no need to turn/on turn off
2. I can clearly see everything without my glasses. Astigmatism is not a problem at all.
3. Most importantly, people say its not daylight bright, it is true. However, I tested in my totally dark bathroom with 1000 lumen rifle light. With eotech, when you turn it on, the default brightness will be washed off. You have to click probably 5 times to reach max brightness, but bc of my astigmatism, max bright+rifle light=red-flower blossom in the window. With PA 1-6, you are 1 click away from the max bright (vs 5 on Eotech). And it is supper clear, no blurry at all.
