This Primary Arms rifle scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms 3-18x50mm first focal plane illuminated rifle scope punches far outside of its weight class. At 3x magnification, fast snap shots at close range are a breeze with the daylight bright illuminated reticle, but the scope easily allows shooters to reach the 1,000 yard line when cranked up to the full 18x available at the top end. To make the best of the reticle at every magnification, it has been etched into the first focal plane. This allows it to be 'true' at every magnification, allowing the ranging, hold overs, and wind holds to be used as long as you can see them.

Features:

  • First Focal Plane reticle is true at every magnification
  • Full reticle illumination is daylight bright
  • ACSS APOLLO 6.5 CM Reticle provides ranging, bullet drop, and wind holds out to 1,000 yards in up to 20mph cross winds
  • Chevron central aiming point provides infinitely small aiming point
  • The replaceable power ring fin can be positioned to user preference
  • Locking, Zero resettable turrets
  • 30mm main tube
  • Weight: 25.4 oz. with battery, without lens covers
  • Water proof, fog resistant, shock resistant
  • Lifetime warranty

The 3-18x50mm is equipped with the ACSS APOLLO 6.5CM reticle, simply the ultimate option for 6.5 Creedmoor shooters available. Simply sight in at 100 yards and you are ready to engage at any range out to 1,000 yards with crosswinds up to 20 mph, all without requiring any math or touching a single turret. Combine the built-in range estimation and hold overs with an infinitely precise chevron tip aiming point and .2 MIL crosshair subtensions, and you have a firing solution at any distance.

The 3-18x50mm scope body is our most advanced to date, offering new innovative features, as well as old favorites. A removable and replaceable fin on the power ring allows for rapid adjustment of the magnification range just like a magnification lever, with placement of the fin entirely at the discretion of the operator. The improved turrets have tactile and audible 0.1 MIL click adjustments, as well as offering easy reset once you've got your zero and secure locking to prevent accidental adjustments. The illumination turret offers six settings with an 'OFF' setting between each for fast switching to your preferred setting. A smooth parallax adjustment and fast focus eye piece work together to provide a perfectly crisp image of the target and reticle.

Featuring clear glass, forgiving eye relief/exit pupil characteristics, and efficient industrial design, the 3-18x50 FFP Scope with ACSS APOLLO 6.5CM reticle is backed up by the Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty.

Might be my favorite primary arms scope so far ;)

by -

Love the reticle. Really should work well with my 6.5 Creedmoor and .224 Valkarie reloads. I have this scope in the ACSS DMR .308 version and it's a nice upgrade over the cheaper 4-14x FFP ACSS scopes(which are not bad for the $).

For those who don’t like math.

I’m not good in math and this is the perfect scope for me. If you don’t like numbers, then this is the scope for you. I just zeroed it to 100 yards and I keep hitting my target with the use of the BDC. The range finder works great too, pretty accurate. Just like Dimitri say,”This allows you to be very fast on target, completely math free.” I’m so happy with this scope, you got more than what you paid for.

Better scope than my pay grade.

Received my APOLLO scope with fast shipping and did a quick install on a blank stock for initial testing. I am new to this style of reticle and took roughly 20 minutes to get the bells and whistles sorted out. Very sturdy construction with nice clicks and action of the turrets. With out testing at the range I can already say the glass is schweet, scanning the ridge across from my kitchen table "500 yrds" I see very nice detail great clarity with very little mirage. I will report back after range test

A Must buy!

The highly anticipated Apollo scope has lived up to the hype. This scope is soild the glass is very clear eye relief is great. I mounted this to my 6.5 Creedmoor. The beauty of this scope is all you have to do is zero at 100 yards and the BDC takes over from there. The reticle is calibrated exactly to the 6.5 Creedmoor. All the ballstic calculations are done for you in this reticle.
I am currently shooting to 1000 yards with this scope using the BDC and wind hold overs. Absolutely Amazing scope for the price. A must buy.

800 yards with a $200 rifle.

This scope is worth the money and more. I’ve got a simple TC compass in 6.5 creedmoor and zeroed it using Hornady 140 grain match. Because that is $35 the box I also picked up some cheaper stuff at Walmart. Obviously the match grouping was better. But federal NOn-typical SP was at 3/4” so were other brands... was able to get to a range with a 300 yard steel plate (conds sleeting with 20mph winds) shot once and hit the steel, gave to my friend to shoot on shot and Hit!!! Just this weekend was able to take it to 355 (ipsc torso), 410, 500 (coyote), 800 yard steel plates. I’m impressed!!! I’m just a weekend warrior and this scope makes it fun! Can’t wait to try it at 1000 yards!

I may ditch my Vortex Viper PST Gen 2

Yep, other than losing some magnification this scope is really that good. I run the Viper PST 5x25x50 on my .224 Valkyrie with the EBR2C (MOA) reticle. It's a great scope with which I have no complaints. I have access to a 1200 yard range but day to day I'm limited to about 450 yards, plus I'm more content ringing plates than the precision long range stuff anyway, but to each his own. I have this scope mounted on an Aero M5 6.5 Creedmoor I built with a BA 22" barrel. It is unbelievable what this combo has been able to do grouping wise. I have to pinch myself every time I take it out to play. I like this scope so much I'm not kidding about selling my Viper PST and running another one of these on my 20" Valkyrie build. Love this reticle, as others have said there is no math needed to consistently ring steel all day every day if you wanted to.

Love primary arms

Put this on my Ruger Precision 6.5. Clear glass, reticle spot on. Just buy it, you'll love it.

A Must Have for 6.5 Creedmoor Shooters

by

I waited months to get this little bugger in my hands and the wait was SO worth it. I've been running this scope weekly since January 2019 in ALL weather conditions out past 1000 yards and I can honestly say that I have never been more satisfied with an optic EVER. There are so many things I love about it. First and foremost is the fact that up to 1000 yards it does all of my thinking for me. It's literally just point, shoot, HIT all day long with crystal clear views of everything downrange. And the locking turrets...LOVE them. I never have to worry about losing my zero with an accidental bump when I'm down on the ground shooting prone in the dust or mud. Also, I have to give a HUGE shout out to those wind holds. Where I live the wind blows CONSTANTLY. But again, with this scope it's just point, shoot, HIT. In fact, it's almost impossible to miss with the thing. If you're running a 6.5 Creemoor, you NEED this scope. Love, love, LOVE IT.

It's a Nail Driver!

I have this scope on my Ruger American Predator in 6.5 creedmoor and my son has the same scope on his Desert Tech bullpup. This scope has super clear glass and lets a lot of light in which is great when that big elk walks in just before dusk.
