This rifle scope is part of our SLx optics line. SLx optics built our reputation for innovation, reliability and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms 3-18x50mm first focal plane illuminated rifle scope punches far outside of its weight class. At 3x magnification, fast snap shots at close range are a breeze with the daylight bright illuminated reticle, but the scope easily allows shooters to reach the 1,000 yard line when cranked up to the full 18x available at the top end. To make the best of the reticle at every magnification, it has been etched into the first focal plane. This allows it to be 'true' at every magnification, allowing the ranging, hold overs, and wind holds to be used as long as you can see them.

 • First Focal Plane reticle is true at every magnification
 • Full reticle illumination is daylight bright
 • ACSS Hera BPR MOA Reticle provides the most precise extreme long-range reticle in the world designed to make shots past 1,000 yards easier than ever.
 • Audible, tactile, and precise 1/4 MOA click adjustments
 • Chevron tip central aiming point provides infinitely small aiming point
 • The replaceable power ring fin can be positioned to user preference
 • Locking, Zero resettable turrets
 • 30mm main tube
 • Water proof, fog resistant, shock resistant
 • Lifetime warranty

The 3-18x50mm is equipped with the ACSS Hera BPR MOA reticle, the world’s most precise reticle for use at extremely long ranges beyond 1,000 yards. With a holdover grid encompassing a full 50 MOA of drop, it’s easy to not just find the perfect hold over, but quickly recover and correct a missed shot by spotting the impact on the grid and adjusting your aim accordingly. Fine aiming dots are displayed in 1 MOA increments, making ranging and hold overs a breeze. When the reticle is tied in with a ballistic calculator, even advanced calculations like spin drift and Coriolis effect can be accounted for and applied to a firing solution without ever touching a turret! For those who prefer to count their clicks, the ¼ MOA adjustments match perfectly with the MOA based reticle.

The 3-18x50mm scope body is our most advanced to date, offering new innovative features, as well as old favorites. A removable and replaceable fin on the power ring allows for rapid adjustment of the magnification range just like a magnification lever, with placement of the fin entirely at the discretion of the operator. The improved turrets have tactile and audible 0.1 MIL click adjustments, as well as offering easy reset once you've got your zero and secure locking to prevent accidental adjustments. The illumination turret offers six settings with an 'OFF' setting between each for fast switching to your preferred setting. A smooth parallax adjustment and fast focus eye piece work together to provide a perfectly crisp image of the target and reticle.

Featuring clear glass, forgiving eye relief/exit pupil characteristics, and efficient industrial design, the 3-18x50 FFP Scope with ACSS HERA BPR MOA reticle is backed up by the Primary Arms Lifetime Warranty.

Finally took the scope out on my 6.5 Creedmoor. I was able to hold over consistantly with the reticle, ranged the steel targets at my local range with the reticle, and then on a whim decided to dial using the turrets to 1000 yards, after some minor adjustments from where the ballistic calculator got me, started smashing steel. Returned back to 100 yard zero with no issues, and then dialed back up to my 1000 yard adjustment, immediately hitting the target.
Glass quality is great, reticle is great, turrets are surprisingly good for such a budget optic, Primary Arms hit this one out of the park. Cant wait to try out some of the Gold Series when I get the funds.

Solid precision scope

The silver 3-18x50 scopes are the best bang for your buck in my opinion. I put the HERA MOA on my 6.5CM and have really enjoyed using it out to 800 yards so far.

Great value for the $$$

I am a multifocal contact lens wearer. This scope works very well and I have no issues using it with one eye or both eyes open. Having the 18x zoom is great for scoring groups at a distance without needing a separate spotting scope. I then dial back for normal shooting. Adjustments are smooth and consistent. I couldn't be happier with my choice of birthday present to me. But every rose has its thorns and these aren't showstoppers. The first quibble involves the eyepiece. It is diopter adjustable. I had to assume that zero is halfway thorough its rotations and this should be indicated somehow. The other quibble, and it is slight, is that the illumination of the reticle appears to come from one side only and at real low levels gives you a skewed presentation.
Would I recommend this scope? It is an unqualified yes.

Very versatile optic

Have had this optic for a couple weeks now mounted on a AR-308 and to say the least I am very satisfied with the quality of the glass and of the optic overall. The reticle is fairly easy to figure out and I have no problems with it on the AR-10 platform. It comes out of the box feeling very rugged. My only concern is it feels like the adjustment knobs are a bit weak in the retention as far as keeping it locked but I have not had it loose adjustment yet.
