This 1-8x24mm PLx 8 scope is equipped with the first focal plane ACSS Griffin MIL reticle. This incredible, all-in-one reticle features an eye-catching horseshoe that functions just like a red dot at low magnifications, allowing for unsurpassed close quarters engagement speed. The automatic ranging system gives easy estimation on targets out to 600 yards. At 8x, the full features of the reticle come to life, offering moving target leads and a MIL-dot matrix that allows for precise shots at extended ranges with any caliber.

Our advanced reticle designs promote set-and-forget zeroing, but for those who prefer to count their clicks, the Japanese made PLx rifle scopes features tactile, audible, and -- more importantly -- precise and repeatable 0.1 MIL click adjustments. Once zero has been achieved, the finger-adjustable turrets can be easily reset to 0 as well, allowing future adjustments to be readily tracked. To protect your zero, the turrets are locking. Pull out on the turrets to make your adjustments, push in to lock them down and ensure bumps on the range or in a bag won’t throw off your zero.

Whether you're looking for a workhorse optic for tactical shooting, competition, or out on your next hunt, the uncompromising clarity and quality of our PLx rifle scopes may be exactly what you're looking for. These remarkably flexible scopes will help you dominate close quarters and get fast, predictable hits out to 800 yards. To top it off, this fantastic scope is covered by our lifetime warranty.

Another home run!

Absolutely another fantastic scope from PA. The platinum series is absolutely top shelf. Dimitri has once again hit it out of the park with this reticle. I have the ACSS Raptor and now the Griffin Mil. Made hits at 700and 800yds with my SR-25 using JUST THE RETICLE, no dialing.

Great Scope

Great HD glass and one of the best MIL/MRAD reticles you can find in a LPVO for sure.

Great optic

One of the best lpvo out there. Can’t beat the quality for the price. Glass is incredibly clear and the reticle is easy to use. It’s nice to see a company supply end caps for the price it’s at. The illumination works well during the day. Shipping was fast and the customer service is great. I would highly recommend.

Worth every penny

My application is competition from 10yrd to 550yrds. This scope is ideal. The glass is exceptional. The reticle is near ideal. I have a lot of scopes in the $1000 range and this one is my favorite. The only dings would be at 1 power the reticle is small and can blend in with the back ground without illumination on. I would also like to see the ability to illuminate the hold over for close range under 20yrds. It has weight which I like for my application. Outside of $3k scopes this thing is excellent.

Excellent LPVO

Awesome glass and probably the most robust LPVO reticle out there. I had the original ACSS but prefer the Griffin MIL. I would’ve like to see a zero stop and illumination could be cleaner. Apart from those 2 issues, this is an excellent optic for a precision gas gun and more than capable out to 700 yards or so

Excellent Optic

Glass clarity is excellent. I've had no issues going out to 700 yards and engaging targets as small as 1/2 size IPSC. Zeroing the turrets is very easy. The locking turrets work great and the clicks are distinct and tactile. I would've liked the elevation turret to have a zero stop, however it's fine without as this is not an optic where you will be dialing 10+ MILs.
The reticle is awesome. The chevron is an excellent aiming point. When shooting for groups at 100 yards with my AR, I have no problems printing 0.5-0.6 MOA groups with my 77gr hand loads. Also, another primary factor that lead me to the Griffin MIL is that you can zero your preferred load to the chevron tip and use the grid along with existing DOPE. Illumination is ok and probably my biggest criticism. At 1x, it works as expected, however when using 8x the illumination has bleed and is not clean. Overall a great optic.

I bought the 1-6 "SLx" before it was the SLx and I've never had a complaint about it. But after getting the PLx in, the old tried and true just looks cloudy now. Light transmission is amazing, scope is built like a tank. Couldn't be happier with my purchase

So Far awesome

Mounted and zeroed. Fantastic eye box and relief. The reticle is great . When you need the reticle it is there, when you just need a dot , that is what you have. Turrets track very true. Daylight bright . Cannot wait to run a RECCE match!

Decent, reticle illumination could be more uniform

by -

The scope is decent but not perfect.
The illumination of the semi circle is not uniform on my unit. The right side of the circle is brighter, and the upper half of the arc is brighter at the top than bottom. The left side lower arc is lowest illuminated. The illumination of the numbers and dots below the center are difficult to read at night. In daylight un-illuminated the reticle works great.
On 1X the outer portions of the image are slightly distorted, the inner portion seems clear and undistorted. 85-90% of the transmission about the optical axis radius is fine. Only notice when moving/scanning while looking through the scope wide field, concentrating on the central reticle distortion was not a bother. On higher powers about 1X the image seemed fine.
I have not tested the color dispersion or flare of the optic.

This scope is almost a home run

The glass is clear. The scope tracks true. The adjustments are both clear and positive, and the exposed locking turrets are great. The illumination is daylight bright. The reticle is great for both close up shooting and using the hold overs for shooting at extended ranges. I much prefer the MRAD grid to ballistic drop reticles that never really line up in the real world.
It is heavy. If you are looking to keep the weight down on your rifle, this may not be the scope for you.
The miss is that the windage hashmarks do not line up on the turret after zeroing. They align one click off in either direction, but not for true zero. The 5th star is having the turret splined for every hash. The elevation dial does align and you have a 50/50 chance of each aligning perfectly with your rifle/cartridge- the dials appear to be splined for every other hash.
Overall, this is a really good scope that punches above its class.
