The heart of the tough 2.5X Prism Scope is the ACSS 5.56 CQB-M1 reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has the integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the inner horseshoe offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 8.6 MPH. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!
The PAC2.5X offers mounting flexibility to suit your needs. The included 1913 MIL-STD Picatinny thumbscrew mount can be removed and replaced with any mount that accepts AR-15 carry handle-type optics, or simply so you can mount the 2.5x Prism Scope directly to an AR-15 style carry handle. Optionally, shooters can add an M1913 picatinny rail to the top of the optic to piggyback a red dot back up sight. The PAC2.5X offers the perfect amount of magnification to balance close quarters speed with hits at medium range, in a flexible and durable package.

and love itI picked up one of these on a forum in like new condition. It was equipped with covers qr flip mount as well as the kill flash. The reticle doesnt need power so it can be used in daytime without using battery life. The smallest dot i believe is 1 moa and hard to see during daytime. With a weaponlight on my ar and this on i have an impressive nightime target view ! I may get a few more of thesethey are a nice alternative to a micro dot style of optic.Built like a tank

I love this optic it works great with both my 300 blk out pistol and Head Down AR-15. I only have 3 complaints: 1-reticle is not centered in the glass. 2-the reticle is a little small. And 3- It is made in china. Other than that I love this optic and plan on buying more.

I have 2 of these. One on an X-95, the other on a TAR-21 (TAVORs). Rugged as hell ! I especially like the etched reticle being visible without using the illumination. Perfect for daylight. And the illumination works well at night. Have shot several matches with these, including night matches, and they perform very well. 2.5X is "just enough" power to engage steel plates out to 300 yards (or more), yet low enough for CQB.
I'm thinking about getting 2 more for a couple AR builds I'm working on. (when they go on sale again !!!!).

Purchased the 2.5x and the 4x about 2 weeks ago. I'm very impressed with the quality, and clarity. The BDC is far superior to any other prism sight I have owned or researched when I was looking to buy especially in the price range they are selling in. Primary Arms as a company has always done me right and their shipping is probably the quickest of any online vendor I've used. If your on the fence about whether to get this or any of the prism sights by PA go a head and do it you will be glad you did.

Mounted on 16 inch carbine, clarity is awesome. Eye relief is decent. Ranged in easy, but don't bother starting the process without thread lock, it will buck loose. PA even says this in the manual.
Very easy to use the Binden aiming technique with 2.5x magnification. Overall best budget optic I've put hands on even if it is a bit on the heavy side.

I bought this to go on a AR Sig MP400 Pistol. It exceeded my expectations. Excellent clarity, CQB ACSS reticle is remarkably fast, and the brightness settings provide a full range for any conditions. Batteries are not required to operate sight - a major plus. For my old eyes this "is the sight".

Great optic, I use it on a 11.5" SBR with silencer. I used this optic to take the place of an Aimpoint Red Dot and 3x Magnifier. The etched glass is great since a dead battery doesn't mean that you are out of business. The dots are very small which can be a challenge but I think I can manage. I am working on the holdover at 100 and then 200 yards since the barrel is shorter than what it was designed for. Overall its holding up well and I think its a good deal.
