This Primary Arms prism scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms 2.5X Compact Prism Scope with ACSS CQB-M1 reticle is the lightweight, do-everything scope you've been looking for. The low 2.5X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS CQB-M1 reticle allows for easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards. Whether you're looking for a new scope for competition, hunting, or plinking, why look any further?

Features:
  • ACSS 5.56 CQB-M1 reticle has BDC and ranging out to 600 yards with 5.56 NATO, .223 Remington, 5.45x39mm, and .308 Winchester
  • Fully illuminated reticle is visible even in bright daylight
  • Optional M1913 Picatinny top rail for piggy-backed red dot sights
  • Generous 10.16mm exit pupil allows for a bright sight picture and forgiving eye box
  • 37.5ft field of view at 100 yards provides easier tracking of mobile targets
  • 2.7" of eye relief
  • 1/2 MOA turret clicks are tactile and audible for easy zeroing
  • Tough prism scope is waterproof, fog resistant, and shockproof
  • Durable Type II hardcoat anodized black finish
  • Compatible with standard AR15 carry handle mounts
  • Protected by a lifetime warranty

The heart of the tough 2.5X Prism Scope is the ACSS 5.56 CQB-M1 reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has the integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the inner horseshoe offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 8.6 MPH. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!

The PAC2.5X offers mounting flexibility to suit your needs. The included 1913 MIL-STD Picatinny thumbscrew mount can be removed and replaced with any mount that accepts AR-15 carry handle-type optics, or simply so you can mount the 2.5x Prism Scope directly to an AR-15 style carry handle. Optionally, shooters can add an M1913 picatinny rail to the top of the optic to piggyback a red dot back up sight. The PAC2.5X offers the perfect amount of magnification to balance close quarters speed with hits at medium range, in a flexible and durable package.

Unbelievable results

by -

I installed this optic on my 5.56 10.5" pistol AR and after 18 rounds, I was hitting steel targets at 300 and then 400 yards. Unbelievable results! The glass is clear and the reticle is sharp. Love it!

Impressed with this prism scope.

by

I have never tried a fixed power prism optic, this was my first. I really liked how from CQB out to 200 yard I was fast on target with a clear view. I did not have to to wrestle with my glasses or strain my eyes to get a clear image from the primary 2.5. Having the ACSS reticle also adds to the capability of ranging and going long. I will be purchasing more primary arms prism scopes in the future over red dots.

Great all around optic

by -

Great optic. Went thru a whole patrol rifle class for work. Held zero, awesome clarity for the price, the reticle was outstanding with the EO Tech like donut of death. Relatively lighweight as well. Eye relief isnt super forgiving, and battery life could be better. Still overall, I would trust my life to it

Excellent optic

This is a great optic. I put on my AR pistol and had no issues getting a great group at 100 yards. I will buy another for my next build.

Spend Your Money

I'm gonna get the negatives out of the way first... The lens caps are poor quality compared to the rest of the optic. The mounting screws can vibrate loose pretty easily under sustained fire (this is why we have Loctite however). Also, the eye relief is a little tight for me.

Everything else about this optic is pure gold. Clear glass with great light transmission, solid adjustment knobs, excellent reticle with quality illumination. Sharp, audible clicks when you adjust. The dual-purpose reticle is very easy to acquire (even without illumination) and is perfect for close- to mid-range shooting. It definitely gets tougher past 300yds, but that isn't really what this optic is designed for. While it's not an ACOG, it competes very well... Not to mention that it only costs 20-30% of what an ACOG runs. If you need a good all-around optic, get one. You will not be disappointed.

This sight would be perfect with loctite

Sighted this sight in the day after buying it. Great sight, hands down one of the best values out there. Do yourself a favor and loctite the base to the scope before you send a single round down range though. It rattled loose after about 10 rounds. After that issue was resolved it dead on accurate.

It's great for midrange

by

The scope itself absolutely awesome. this magnification scope is not for 600 yards. Trying to put the bullet comp drop dots on a Target at that range with this magnification is unnecessarily difficult. I would suggest getting the 5× magnification.. but this is the perfect medium range scope. It is perfect for what I use it for

Works great for my Bushmaster/Bear Creek 6.5 Grendel

by

Put it on a Bear Creek Arsenal 6.5 Grendel 16" upper. Zeroed at 50yds, hitting 1.7" high at 100yds. Works great.

Perfect for my 10.5" Pistol

by

Picked this 2.5X prism up from an authorized local dealer, and I just love it. The glass and reticle are clear and sharp. It works great in the day without any illumination. Inside at the range where it is darker, I turn up the reticle illumination to about 4 and it is more than enough. This thing goes up to 11 - and it is on-fire red at that point.

Zeroing the scope took all of 10 rounds. I plan to take it out past 100 yards this weekend.

As others have suggested, the two bolts that secure the mounting base are unreasonably loose, from the factory. It is MANDATORY that you use a liberal application of BLUE thread-locker on that connection. I've not needed any thread-locker on the cross-bolt nuts as of yet. I am looking into an American Defense or MI ACOG QD mount. The two-hole base mounting footprint on this scope is the same as these ACOG mounts.

Very good hunting optic for AR-15

by

This is a great fixed magnification prism scope. I have this on a 16" barreled 7.62x39 upper I use for pig hunting. Really like the lighted reticle, especially when hunting at night and using green LED flashlights. Rugged without being too heavy. Clear optic. This makes for a good hunting optic out to 300 yards. After that, I'm needing more than 2.5x.
