Primary Arms 3X Red Dot Magnifier Gen III
NOTE: Make sure that the mount you choose is capable of interfacing with the 30mm ring on this magnifier, because the objective is larger than the 30mm mounting area. Mounts intended to just slip over a 30mm mounting area and tighten down will not work.

Primary Arms 3X Red Dot Magnifier
by Semper Fi to Freedom
I finally decided to invest in a magnifier for my red dot sight and made the decision to go with Primary Arms. For the price, you can't beat the clarity. Customer service with Primary Arms; second to none. This magnifier is only used once in a while which is why it works perfect for my application. Perfect product for my perfect scenario. Thanks again Primary Arms!

I got this magnifier with the flip to side mount and was very impressed with the quality and utility of the set-up, compliments my EOTech 512 very nicely and looks great!
Primary Arms 3X Red Dot Magnifier (GEN III)

I have a 1x BSA RED DOT SIGHT on my AR. After a couple visits to the range I decided I needed a magnifier. I settled on the PRIMARY 3x Red Dot Magnifier GEN III with a flip mount. The 3x Red Dot has two different mount heights available. To avoid complications of ordering the wrong height, I took my AR to PRIMARY they were kind enough to mount the 3x for me. At the range had to do some minor adjustments of the 3x and I was set to go. Thanks PRIMARY for your help.
Great product for the price.

I have a small gun shop here in Texas, and started selling the Primary Arms red dot sights. I was very pleased with the quality of both the sight as well as the 3x magnifier we ordered. From order to receipt of the item was extremely fast and well packaged. PA has a great product for those looking to get a clear magnifier for a fraction of the price. Recommend highly.
I love my advanced PA micro dot...but this was a F

I love my PA advanced micro dot. I've tortured the crap out of it on purpose. Still holds zero. Still works. Love it. 5 stars. Bought the x3 red dot magnifier and when it arrived I excitedly took it to the range! I could not for the life of me get proper eye relief. I adjusted it about a dozen times moving my red dot and magnifier but still didn't see jack squat through it. I got a dud. Very sad. I sent it back, and I'd rate PA's customer service 5 stars. But the magnifier was 1 star through and through..
Gen III Magnifier and FTS Mount
I picked up this magnifier and the mount for the Black Friday sale that PA put on. It was a great sale and I couldn't pass it up! I put this behind a Bushnell TRS-25 on a .83" riser and in front of a Magpul flip up sight. After getting creative for a while, I moved the mount forward one notch on the rail to where the magnifier is almost touching the red dot. It flips just fine, but I won't be able to put the lens cover over the red dot. I don't think I'd have this problem if I would've bought a different magnifier that didn't have the hollowed light shield in front of the front lens. So, space is tight, but still manageable and not detrimental to the setup at all.Above all, I'm very happy with my purchase, and I'll most certainly do more business with them again. Being a Texas company, I'm more than happy to do business with them.
Couldn't be happier

I purchased and 3x magnifier and quick detach mount. Shipment arrived quickly. Mount is very solid and holds nice and tight when clamped down. Magnifier is ver easy to adjust and is very clear when focused. Eye relIef is much better than I expected and the magnifier lines up very nicely with my eotech 512. Will be purchasing from primary arms again.

I took a chance with this magnifier as I couldn't justify the expense of the Eotech version. I have previously owned an Eotech magnifier and this product performs just as well at a fraction of the cost. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know.
Nice optic, but a little heavy.
It has a nice and clear view and centered up to the red dot very nicely. Only downside is the weight. I'm sure it's on par with other manufacturers, but the weight of my AR feels like it was increased dramatically. That's magnifiers. Part of what makes the AR shine is the weight and handiness; both of which now suffer. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the Primary Arms over the Eotech or Aimpoint magnifier. I think the long eye relief version would be a lot better since it's lighter and would be easier and quicker to get a site picture, but for the price I can't complain.
Its on my RPK behind my red dot. It does what it should. It can be difficult to get eye alignment and relief perfect, but will take just a little practice. I'm happy with it
