This Primary Arms rifle scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics have built a reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms 4-14x44mm rifle scope was the first step into first focal plane (FFP) optics and remains one of the most cost-effective options on the market. Having a reticle stay 'true' through the entire magnification range opens a world of possibility for hunters, marksman, and competitors everywhere. Add in "built like a tank" construction and a lifetime warranty, and it's easy to see why this scope is so popular.

Features:
  • Traditional MIL-DOT reticle can be used to accurately range and holdover
  • First Focal Plane reticle stays true at all magnifications
  • High strength aircraft grade aluminum body
  • Side-adjustable parallax and fast focus eye piece for crisp view of the target and reticle
  • 30mm main tube compatible with your favorite rings and mounts
  • Tactile and audible 1/10 MIL windage and elevation adjustments
  • Exposed tactical style turrets with Zero Reset
  • Shockproof, waterproof, and fog resistant
  • Parallax adjusts from 15 yards to infinity!
  • Excellent glass clarity

At the heart of the 4-14x44mm rifle scope is the first focal plane MIL-DOT reticle. Properly matched with MIL/MIL turret adjustments, this traditional reticle in use by military forces in almost every country allows shooters to range and find their hold overs without being forced to use caliber specific BDC systems. Each dot is .25 MILs with a full MIL measured from the center of one dot to the next. For shooters who want a proven reticle with wide spread military acceptance, the MIL-DOT is perfect for you.

A scope that won’t hold up to real world use won’t do any good, so they built the 4-14x44mm FFP tactical rifle scope to last with a heavy-duty aircraft grade 6063 aluminum body and 30mm main tube. Waterproof, shockproof, and fog resistant, this scope is perfectly at home on an AR-15 or your favorite hunting rifle. Even better, the MIL/MIL turrets track correctly through their full 17.5 MIL adjustment range, allowing for confident adjustments for shooters who prefer to count their clicks. With clear glass, heavy duty construction, and a true first focal plane reticle that can be leveraged at every magnification, the 4-14x44mm rifle scope from Primary Arms offers shooters a versatile and effective rifle scope, covered by a lifetime warranty!

Tough Scope

by

I must say this scope is both precisely built, and beefy enough to handle 308 at the very least. The other day at the range, after about 100 308 rounds through my LR308, I didn't realize the damn screws had backed out just enough so that the scope began moving in the rings. Damn lock-tight must have expired or something. Anyway, I shot at least 10 rounds with a loose scope. At first I turned all clammy and sweaty, thinking I had a lemon scope (because my zero began moving around). However after a thorough inspection; I realized the problem was mechanical, and after re-tightening the screws, the scope was back to it's tac-driver accuracy. Roughly 1" MOA, and with only a bi-pod! I am truly happy with this setup, and will use it for both a target and hunting scope. This is the second scope I've purchased from PA, and I am definitely happy with the outcome. Keep up the great work Primary Arms!!! -Tyler Dotter

Absolutely the best scope for the price!!!!

by

I never write reviews but this is such an awesome scope for the money I had to write a review. A few years ago I bought a bsa that was of similar quality and has the same specs for my 7mm rem. Mag and I love it. I paid $250 for it when they just introduced them to the market and now they sell for $399.00. I recently acquired a .308 and wanted the same scope but was hoping to find one for cheaper than $399. I came across this scope when I was searching and thought what the hell Ill give it a try. I am so happy with this scope that I have recommended it to several people. Every time I show someone this scope they are amazed at the quality and most of all price!!!! Comparing this scope to a Leupold I see very little difference if any and this scope is 1/6th the price at least. If you are worried about the quality don't. If I get another gun any time soon that requires a scope I will buy this scope again or possibly try the upgraded version of this scope that pa has on here.

wow

I only had two evenings after work to get this scope mounted and sighted in on my Rem 700 .223 varminter. We then spent about 5 hours whacking prairie dogs. The zero never moved, and every miss was my fault. I cannot praise this scope enough. It made me look good and shoot better

Great customer service!

by

I ordered the scope, rings, sun shade, and covers. They placed everything in the same box so it was a tight squeeze. I did notice that one of the turrets had pushed through the top of the box but was u damaged and functioned right. After having the scope for approximately 2 month the scope for moisture inside so I sent it back. PA promptly sent a replacement at no cost to me. Very satisfied!! Great scope to range estimate and shoot long range.

SERVICE

by

I ordered this scope online the same day as I was notified they were back in stock. PA shipped it the same day. I am very impressed by there service, I will buy again for sure from this company. Scope looks very impressive, crystal clear, positive clicks. Thank you again for the great service.

Fantastic Scope

by

I picked up a cheapy Remington 770 recently and needed some decent glass. I saw a great video on youtube from the Military Arms Channel on this scope and decided to to get on the waiting list. Bought it as soon as it came back in stock. Took it out to the range this past Sunday and was able to put a few 1 inch groups down range at 100 yards. Can't wait to shoot further! Great quality, amazing glass, very happy I bought this!

I now have 2

by

I purchased the first one for my Springfield NM. M1A in spring 2014. Purchased a second one for my Colt AR15 24" Competition in 2015. Very well worth the money and quality. PA also ships very fast.

After shot ffp scope review

by

I purchased this scope after reading MANY positive reviews for a budget build 308 tactical rife. I am impressed. After a few rounds down rage it was immediately apparent that the turrets were perfectly matched to the mil dots and after 3 rounds of zeroing i was shooting sub moa at 100 yards. With minimal effort i adjusted for drop and was pinging a 500 yard target effortlessly. Though i wouldn't recommend it for anything past 800-1000 yards, at 14x magnification the glass was clear and it was no trouble at all to pick out targets without blur. It is solid, astoundingly well built, and with the added bonus of the ffp reticle, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal. If you're still on the fence, take my advice, just buy it. You will not be disappointed.

Best Scope for the Money!!

by

I purchased this scope to put on my Savage .308 Bolt Action. I received my order on time. It was well packaged. I also bought scope rings and a sunshade along with the scope which are of excellent quality. There were 2 reviews of this scope online that completely sold me. One was the Military Arms Channel 1000yards under 1000 dollars rifle and the review on The Truth about Guns. The scope is of excellent quality in my opinion. My only cons are that the turrets are a little mushy, the glass does get a little shadowy at 14x and I wish there was a reticle like the ML16 on the Falcons or one with more Mil dots further down the reticle but aside from that I am very impressed. I will definitely purchase from Primary Arms again in the future.

Great Value

by

I purchased this scope to replace an old BSA contender that has been mounted on my Savage 110fp Tactical in 300 win mag. So far it has been doing great and the glass is amazing.
