Details

This Primary Arms basic scope mount works with M4, AR-15, and similar “flat-top” 1913 Picatinny mounting platforms. Fits scopes with 30mm tubes, or use the included metal 1-inch adapter shims to mount a 1-inch tube scope. Aluminum construction, durable matte black anodized finish. This tough scope mount features a lifetime warranty.

To make sure that the mount nut is fully tightened, turn the nut clockwise until resistance is encountered. After that, turn another 1/2 turn. If a torque wrench is being used, they recommend no more than 35-40 in-lbs.

For those of us that are looking for a little extra height but want to stay compact, this is it. also allowed me to move forward enough to stay clear of the charging handle. No extended latch= less hooking other gear. Mounting a 3-12x40 compact without an issue( stayed solid for 100 rounds testing). Sometimes you can mistake length of pull issues for the height of the mount being too low. If you just can't seem to get a comfortable stock adjustment try this to un-cramp your stance!

From a cost-effectiveness standpoint, this might just be the best scope mount for the AR-platform on the market. It's solidly built and the base of the mount grips the receiver rail firmly. The scope I'm using will clear the folding rear sight, but I can tell that this won't be the case with every rear sight/scope combination. I've used this on my 6.8mm AR with about 300 rounds sent downrange; so far no complaints.

Good solid mount for a low end optic! I bought it to mount a 30mm $150 Barska mil-dot recital scope I had laying around on my M&P 15-22. I was surprised to find it also came with adapters for 1" scopes as well. GREAT low end/cost mount. Solid mounting and stays tight on the weapon !
