To make sure that the mount nut is fully tightened, turn the nut clockwise until resistance is encountered. After that, turn another 1/2 turn. If a torque wrench is being used, they recommend no more than 35-40 in-lbs.

Awesome Product
by Joshua Burnside
Holds the scope well and looks very cool for being only $25. Got this with the Vortex Crossfire II and they work well together without spending lots of money for scope rings. I will probably upgrade later but this was a great way to get it on my rifle and I'm simply amazed at the quality for the price.
For the money, the best going!

I got my mount and looked at the box and thought this isn't big enough? Then I opened it and got my scope and AR put it together. I cannot be happier! Solid mount, and if you need to take it off for some reason it isn't that hard to remove. I will buy this again if I need it!

Good mount for the money
by Tony
I have limited space on my rail to mount a Leopould scope, as well as a limited budget after purchasing it. This mount worked well. With only a single screw mount I was a bit concerned but other reveiws were good so I tried it. I have run 110 rounds during sight in and play time after and the mount stayed tight, looks good and gets the job done. I did not give it five stars but if it keeps the scope on target next time at the range after this past trip, cleaning etc. I would.
Solid and good position
by Scott
I have no complaints. Only shot the rifle and mount once (about 40 rounds) but the mount locks up good, feels solid, and gives me the proper eye relief for a full size scope on my AR...all without the high price. I may come back and up the review to 5 stars once I can evaluate the longevity.
Good to go

I now own several Primary Arms Scope Mounts and and other products, I am happy with them all. I went in knowing I wasn't buying a high end LaRue or Knights Armament, etc. mount but got far more then the bargain basement price I paid. One did ship missing a screw, contacting Customer service had the replacement and 2 spare screws delivered approx. 3 days later at no charge. Honesty in advertising fair quality at low prices and great customer service. Can't ask for more out of a company. Additionally, P.A. caries myriad variety products at very competitive prices from all the high end manufactures as well. Marshall and P.A. are awesome!..
Awesome & Affordable!

I used this mount for my Bushnell AR Optics 1x4 with PCL and it works perfectly! Mount holds everything nice and secure! Great price, great product and some of the best customer service around!
Primary Arms mount is great
by Nathan Hoxworth
I was skeptical about this mount originally because it only has one contact/holding point. But at a good price and in need of a mount, not to mention the other reviews, i decided to buy it. Its made from quality material, gives the height to mount the scope over my MBUS, and secures nicely. it comes with a crush washer to help keep that screw tight. i use a rachet set to get it tight, and its never came lose on my Palmetto State Armory AR-15

PA Basic Scope Mount
by Grant Carr
It mounts solid and holds the scope at a comfortable level, but the nut that ships with it is cheap aluminum and strips quite easily. I stripped it getting it hand-tight...BUT after finding a replacement nut, it mounted up nice and tight.
