Perfection

Does exactly as advertised, and the install was a breeze. Set my rifle with the Gen 4 Nova 1-6 on a table, illumination was on, left it for 5 minutes and came back it was off and then with a poke it came back to life again. Just find your favorite brightness setting (i've found 8 works best for both darker rooms and full day light bright) set ir and forget. This and the Nova are a hell of a combo to beat for $400.

Worked fine on the SLX Nova. Never saw it mentioned in any literature, for those wondering the reticle shuts off at about 2 mins of inactivity.
Seriously a life saver

I got really tired of having to keep my LPVO illumination on all the time because when you need your rig, you do not have the time to turn it on. Those seconds can literally be life or death. Even worse, finding out the last battery you put on two days ago wasn't up to par and realizing your reticle is not on when needed. I do have a nice weapon light, but even then, you need lighter colors on the target to see the reticle. That is leaving waaay to much to fate. This, absolutely brilliant solution to the need for an instant on need that can be retrofitted on to your "old" reliable LPVO is fantastic. I highly recommend this product.
