Primary Arms Deluxe AR-15 Scope Mount - 1 Inch

Good mount for the price. Did have to file just a tad to get it to hold the scope evenly, but that was no big deal for me. I liked the fact that it had two screws per side, per mount, unlike a Leupold mount that had only one screw per side of each front and rear mount.

Had a chance to test the mount this weekend and it handled my 6.8 great, holding the scope tightly with no creep. Only reason it got 4 stars was one of the screws was unusable due to metal blocking the wrench from inserting into the screw.

I have a dozen rifles with various mounts and getting one for my AR was a challenge, if I didn't want to break the bank.I want everything the big dollar mounts have, but for less than $150. Well this one does it all for less than $75.This mount is rock solid, give me the proper scope height and eye relief and hasn't budged after a few range sessions and a little abuse. I specifically did not want quick release, I'll never use it, I want the mount to stay put and stay true and I could not be happier.I have already posted my positive impressions on few gun boards, and I hope people don't waste their money on a $400 mount, buy the Primary Arms Mount and a bunch of ammo with the saving!

I have several of these on my Primary arms scopes (I have 3 of those) and just for the heck of it I decided to lap it with a 30mm lapping bar. This mount is very well made as the lapping compound took practically nothing off the mount, as it is quite concentric. After placing the scope, it was perfectly vertically aligned with my Leupold sighting system I just corrected 10 clicks for windage.... bottom line, NO LAPPING needed on this !

I purchased a 1 inch scope mount to put on my AR variant in 22LR. Since I had a scope already I was trying to keep the costs low. Primary Arms has a solid reputation for high quality equipment at extremely reasonable prices. I was not disappointed in any way. The mount is solid with an outstanding fit and finish. It mounted easily and continues to hold zero. Kudos to PA for provining quality and value with outstanding customer service! If you are like I was, digging through pages and pages of Google searches, looking for a solid but inexpensive AR scope mount, and found this one, buy it! That is exactly what I did, and you will be happy with your purchase. The price is excellent and the shipping of the mount is very fast.

Mount attaches solidly. Finish is good. Only negative is that the threads in the screws are rough which means extra care must be taken to properly tighten them. This seems to be true of all Chinese made screws in whatever product.
