Makes doing a camo job easy

by

I have always used Krylon type spray paint to paint my weapons. They are tools after all. I have always done a pretty good job if I do say so myself. One thing I have always wanted to do was do a digital style camo job. My options previously were one use type stencils such as what is available from duracoat or getting it hydrodipped. Both options for me were non-starters. Hydrodipping while a fantastic thing, makes changing the camo pattern expensive. Duracoat is nowhere near as cheap as Krylon although it does last longer. So I bought the digital stencil to try my hand painting up my new Savage rifle in .308 in a MARPAT style camo. Easy to do with this stencil is an understatement. Everyone who has seen my rifle asks where I got it done at. They are surprised when I tell them I did it myself and that they can order the stencil from PA. I will definitely be buying the other stencil PA makes to try that pattern as well.

Great as always

I have never been disappointed by service or product from Primary Arms. Best bang for the buck in the industry. The only thing better is the speed of shipping. Just got the 7.62x39 x10.5" AR barrel bolted in to my upper and will be breaking it in this weekend. Looks like a great piece should shoot well.

Art Work

I haven't used yet but is great upgrade to previous tape and leaves.

Extremely fast shipping, very satisfied.

I ordered this product and it was sent out the same day. Shipping was inexpensive and it arrived to me quickly. I am very satisfied and am planning on making many future purchases with Primary Arms.

Great product.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the stencils I bought. I assumed it would be ultra thin sheets, but these things have some thickness and are very robust. At the same time they are very flexible. So pulling the stencil around the firearm is no problem at all.

Really nice but overpriced for a small piece of vinyl.

Worth every penny

The rubber material the stencil is made out of makes it easy to get it into position on uneven surfaces. Really great product.

Worked pretty good

by

The stencil was on my wish list for a while and when it went on sale for half off, I felt the price was right. I used it for a MARPAT paint job on some mags, scope and rifle. The stencil worked very well and cleans up easily. I was expecting a document protector type plastic and thickness and I was pleasantly surprised it was FAR thicker than that. Very durable! While it does flex to meet contours, it didn't always lay flat, leading to some over spray. It's no big deal since that left the primary shape of the MARPAT design intact with a little hazing to blend the colors. Personally, I feel it helped the pattern. Overall, it was a great purchase. I knocked it down one star for the MSRP price and that it could be LITTLE thinner to flex more. If you're looking for a durable, reusable stencil for multiple paint projects, you've found it with this one. Good job, PA!

Too flimsy

by

This works well for painting flatter items but after its sprayed with paint it starts to curl and roll up, almost unusable, until it is 100% dried and flattened again by pressure. Should be a lot more ridgid.

Pretty good

Tried my first painting job with this stencil and it worked out pretty good. You can clean it after by allowing the paint to dry and then peal it off. It worked better than my painting skills so far...lol
