The Primary Arms Basic Flip to Side Magnifier Mount with thumb screw mount is perfect for placing a magnifier behind all standard height 30mm red dots, Micro dots, and reflex sights using a lower 1/3rd cowitness height. Once your magnifier is installed in the 30mm ring, simply pulling the magnifier to the rear unlocks the mount, allowing you to instantly choose between centerline and off-centerline positions. This tough mount features a lifetime warranty.

NOTE:This mount places the center of the magnifier 1.64 inches above the top of the 1913 Picatinny rail. The magnifier will NOT line up with raised base optics such as the 7mm extended base EOTechs!

The mount has way to much play in joint. I wish I wouldn't have went cheap and tried it.

Primary Arms FTS Magnifier Mount

Very solid, great functioning mount. Enough room to fit over Magpul BUIS. Would recommend to a friend.

Not an absolute cowitness mount.

If you pair this with a Sig Romeo 5, it is not a cowitness. There will be an offset. The mount itself is of decent quality but aligns high 1/8th~1/4" above my red dot. (PA 3x magnifier.)

Good quality flip to side mount for a decent price

Bought this mount for use with a PA extended eye relief 3x magnifier, and that is sitting behind a Vortex Strikefire in an Aero Precision 30mm ultralight cantilever mount. The Aero mount is an absolute cowitness mount, and this flip to side mount does sit a little higher than the red dot, but with the elevation adjustment, I was easily able to center the dot in the magnifier. It is well-built, there is no play in the hinge. I did oil the hinge pin with some 3-in-1 oil to make it easier to use, and that helped. Best technique I've found is, since I have almost an inch of room between my red dot and the magnifier, place the palm of my support hand on the front of the magnifier, press back, flip, release. This works well both directions. If you didn't have as much room between the red dot and the magnifier, the need to pull back on the magnifier to get the mount to release could prove troublesome. I'm happy with it for the price I paid.

Great value

Hard to beat this for the price. It's not extremely heavy but it is solid. There is no wobble or anything when mounted on properly. Two things I noticed though...when mounted it's not completely centered on my micro dot. It looks about an 1/8th of an inch off. This doesn't seem to affect the sight picture, but I can't say for sure since I haven't used it while completely centered. The second thing is when it's set up to flip to the left, there is about an inch between my micro dot and the PA3XLER-AD magnifier. The hinge is so large that the QD lever on my Midwest Industries T1 mount can not properly close. I guess you could argue that the MI QD lever is too long as well.

A big miss....

Let me start by saying I am a huge PA fan and they are my first go to store.
I have bought two of these mounts for the PA Gen IV magnifier. One from Amazon and one from Optics Planet. Let's start by saying the mount in the photo is not what you get. The biggest discrepancy is the magnifier mount only has 4 screws instead of the six pictured. The biggest fault of both I have bought is they do not center the magnifier over the rail. It is obviously not on center and would drive folks like me that need everything straight and level nuts. Even though I can adjust the view of the magnifier so the red dot is centered in the magnifier, the magnifier itself is off center of my Eotech. If it being off center doesn't bother you this is the way to go. The unit is solid and doesn't flop around in either position. I did have to repair the second one I got because the pin that locks it into position was almost all the way out on one side. A few taps of a brass hammer fixed that. From PA:

Too High for Some Optics

It's a quality mount but the standard height is still too high for a Sig Romeo 5 or a Holosun 503G ACSS.

Nice mount for the price. A bit hard to flip to side at first; but after it broke in, it a lot better.
