This Primary Arms prism scope is part of the SLx optics line. SLx optics built their reputation for innovation, reliability, and value. All SLx optics undergo rigorous field-testing during development to best serve you in any environment.

The Primary Arms Gen III 3X Compact Prism Scope with the improved ACSS-CQB-300BLK/7.62X39 reticle is the lightweight, do-everything scope you've been looking for. The low 3X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS CQB reticle allows for easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards with supersonic ammunition and 225 yards with subsonic. The Gen III scope has been equipped with the next generation ruggedized mounts to provide flexible mounting options with incredible clamping power.

Features:
  • New Ruggedized Mount provides exceptional clamping power
  • Includes AR-height riser
  • ACSS CQB 300 BLK/7.62x39 chevron reticle has BDC and ranging out to 600 yards with supersonic 7.62x39mm or 300 Blackout ammo and 225 yards with subsonic.
  • Fully illuminated reticle is visible even in bright daylight
  • Removable M1913 picatinny top rail for accessories or piggy-backed red dot sights
  • Generous 10.3mm exit pupil allows for a bright and forgiving eye box
  • 31.5ft field of view at 100 yards provides easier tracking of mobile targets
  • 2.7" - 3.0" of eye relief
  • 1/4 MOA turret clicks are tactile and audible for easy zeroing

  • Durable Type II hardcoat anodized black finish
  • Compatible with standard carry handle mounts
  • Protected by a lifetime warranty

The heart of the tough Gen III 3X Prism Scope is the improved ACSS-CQB 300BLK/7.62x39 reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has the integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the precision chevron offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 6.1 MPH. Each step of the BDC system includes a 5 MPH wind hold, drastically improving first hit probability at any range. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!

The SLx 3X Gen III has even greater strength and flexibility than ever before with the next generation ruggedized mounting system. We’ve upgraded everything about the mount from materials and finish to the design to create a mount that will not just clamp securely to your rail, but stand up the rigors of real-world use. Integrated recoil lugs help lock your mount in place against the heaviest recoil while large diameter crossbolts give you significantly improved clamping power and will hold up to significant torque. The included riser is the perfect height for AR-15s and AR-10s, but can be easily removed for carry handle or AK use as well.

Good AK Scope

by

I really like the compact size , Good piece for your AK , 3 X Is good for me to 100 yrds

Great Value, Not Chintzy.

Bought this earlier this week and took it to the range. My first red dot on my PSA AK w/ ALG trigger. Went from shit iron sight groups of 4-5 MOA at 100 yards to a solid 2 MOA if I take my time, just going at it gets you a good 3 MOA. Using Barnaul shit ammo. The scope has got some good heft to it, you can remove the riser to get it lower over the bore, and you can remove the top pic rail if you want. The wingage/ele adjustments are solid and not mushy at all. Took 20 rounds to get it sighted in at 50 yards without a spotter. Brightness of the reticle is more than enough under cloud cover. At full sun it shows up more like a dark/crimson red and not a bright red, but it is still plenty on a full sun day. Very pleased with the value of this scope, made my AK fun to shoot again. Holds zero when when unmounting, paired with AK Master Mount.

great scope

got one during the first round of pr-orders. well worth the wait. if your on the fence, bite the bullet and order it!
finally got to take it to the range on the 4th of July. very nice glass, clear and crisp recital. I'm used to NightForce glass, and in a short indoor range i have no complaints with this scope.
I'll update this when i take it outside and shoot it at longer ranges.

Which side mount?

by

Will this mount directly on the Leapers UTG Pro Quick Detach AK Side Mount?

Great value and effective!

by

This works great with my Palmetto State Armory KS47 and sighting in was flawless. Love the quick acquisition of target and ability to range all in one reticle. This Prism Scope rocks and it makes 7.62 x 39 VERY accurate!

flip up lens caps?

by

The specifications on the site and even the documentation never mention the outside diameter of housing for the Eyepeice or the Objective lens. This would assist greatly in finding caps. What are the specs and what are the recommended flip ups, such as Butler Creek , for this scope?

Punches WAY above it's weight class

by

There's a ton to like here. The glass is great. Not like "it's $260 so I can live with it" great, but like legit good glass. The ACSS reticle is no joke and the chevron provides for precise aiming. The windage dots also make short work of hogs on the run.

Illumination has a good range and the overall construction is superb. The etched reticle is awesome if you have older eyes and doesn't starburst like most red dots do. I've got mine on a 10" 300BLK and 3x is perfect for the range that gun is used for. With supers I might get out to 200, but 100-150 is more realistic. For subs I'm anywhere from 20-80 yards. 3x is plenty and what I've found about it being fixed is I'm more likely to focus on my shot instead of jacking with a zoom ring, which is what I'd be doing if I had an LPVO on that rifle. I have a lot of optics but very few that I would never part with...this is one of them. On a .300BLK it is an absolutely killer combo.

Outstanding equipment 100%

Just a simple easy to use tool, exceptional quality at a very affordable price point.
You can't go wrong with Primary Arms.
Great company.

Astigmatism be damned!

by -

After trying everything from Sig Romeo to eotechs of various sizes and reticles, this and the vortex spitfire have been the 2 red dot/holographic type optics that have allowed me to actually aim outside of 25-50ft.

9/10 will recommend to friends and family

Great quality
