The SLx optics are the heart of our lineup. The trusted optics that have built our reputation through the years. Although many SLx optics will be familiar to Primary Arms fans, we are always pushing forward with new generations and adding even more options in response to the demands of our loyal customers.

The Primary Arms 3X Compact Prism Scope Gen II with ACSS CQB reticle is the lightweight, do-everything scope you've been looking for. The low 3X magnification and bright illuminated reticle allow for fast, both-eyes-open shooting at close range, while the ACSS CQB reticle allows for easy hits on targets out to an impressive 600 yards. For even greater flexibility, the GEN II features a removable spacer to tailor the perfect height for both AR-15 and AK-47 platform rifles. Whether you're looking for a new scope for competition, hunting, or plinking, why look any further?

 • Removable spacer allows the scope to be used on a variety of rifle platforms
 • ACSS 7.62x39 / 300BLK CQB reticle has BDC and ranging out to 600 yards with 7.62x39mm or supersonic 300BLK, and BDC to 225 yards with subsonic 300 BLK
 • Fully illuminated reticle is visible even in bright daylight
 • Removable M1913 picatinny top rail for accessories or piggy-backed red dot sights
 • Generous 10.3mm exit pupil allows for a bright and forgiving eye box
 • 31.5ft field of view at 100 yards provides easier tracking of mobile targets
 • 2.7" - 3.0" of eye relief
 • 1/4 MOA turret clicks are tactile and audible for easy zeroing
 • Tough prism scope is waterproof, fog resistant, and shockproof
 • Durable Type II hardcoat anodized black finish
 • Compatible with standard carry handle mounts
 • Protected by a lifetime warranty

The heart of our tough Gen II 3X Prism Scope is the ACSS 7.62x39 / 300BLK CQB reticle that combines ranging, wind leads, moving target leads, and ballistic drop compensation out to 600 yards with supersonic or 225 yards with subsonic ammunition. The outer horseshoe of the glass etched reticle is used for close quarters engagement, simply place the generous semi-circle on the target and run with it! Each side of the horseshoe also has our integrated ranging system. Place the bottom of the target on the bottom rung, and range up. If you know your targets are roughly 18 inches wide, they can be ranged on the side Auto Range system, or directly on the BDC hold overs! Two dots on either side of the inner chevron offer a moving target lead moving with an average speed of 8.6 MPH. Each step of the BDC system includes a 5 MPH wind hold, drastically improving first hit probability at any range. As an added bonus, the glass etched reticle does not require batteries or illumination, but 11 brightness settings (including daylight bright) allow for fast acquisition in close quarters, or enhanced visibility in fading light, powered by a common CR2032 battery!

The PAC3X Gen II has even greater flexibility than ever before. The modular base includes a spacer allowing it to be configured for AR-15 / AR10 or AK-47 / AK-74 pattern rifles with ease. The included thumbscrew mount can also be removed and replaced with any mount that accepts AR-15 carry handle-type optics. The top rail, perfectly suited for your favorite accessories or piggy-backed red dots, can also be removed for a slick look and reduced weight. The PAC3X offers the perfect amount of magnification to balance close quarters speed with hits at medium range, in a flexible and durable package.

Went longer than I thought it could

Put this on a PSA KS47, running wolf steel ammo and decided to test my eyesight and the limits of this optic and gun, all while running cheap ammo. Had 12x20 steel plates set up every 50 yards up to 250 yards. No problem at all ringing steel up to the 250 yard mark on almost every shot. Then decided to try this out to 450 yards, luckily the wind was in my favor and was hitting steel on 3 out of 4 shots. Love this optic! If someone told me I could be shooting steel wolf ammo out to 450 yards consistently on a 3x optic I would have told them they were lying.

Great optic!

I have this on my 14 1/2" .300 blackout Frankengun. I love the features, especially a useful but not cluttered ranging and wind markings. I only wish they made a 5X. I also wish this and the .223 ACSS were available on the 4-14 power FFP series. I like this less cluttered reticle a lot. Pretty please.

Finally found my 300blk optic and it was worth the wait

I tried a couple of different optics on a 10" 300BLK AR and none of them were bad, but none of them were awesome. Red dots were a mixed bag because my eyes are perfect, and shooting both supers and subs I kind of wanted some hole-over points. I finally sold all the others and bought the 3x ACSS prism and the short version is: I absolutely love it. The search is over.
Glass is great and it's built like a tank. The ACSS reticle is as awesome as everyone says, end of story.
Best part: I got it mounted, and then bore sighted it. Then took it to the range and went to sight it in. Result? Dead on. Shot a bunch of 5-round groups and never had to touch the turrets. Get one, you'll love it.

First was good. Second should be better.

Just got my second one. My first is a Gen I and I've had it for about two years. This came up on a blemish sale so I got another for a different build.
A great all around optic. Very clean glass. Good features with the reticle design. My favorite feature about the reticle is that it's etched. No illumination needed in daylight or indoor range time.
Can't recommend this scope or PA enough. My 'go to' gun store for everything.
Now if I can just make it to Houston some day...

Love It!

Put this on a AK with a acog mount by rs regulate. Love the ACSS reticle's. Highly recommend.

Spot On!!!

I'm impressed with the accuracy and clarity of this scope right out the box. I put 150 rounds thru a Wilson Combat Protector Pistol in 300 Blk without any issues. The reticle was crystal clear making it easy to stay on target. Oh, did I mention this was done on a cloudy day!

Icing on the cake!

Mounted this on an Aero (M4E1)Enhanced receiver set with a 10.2” noveske (300 Blk) barrel. I am very impressed with how it shot right out of the box, no adjustment required. Stacking them @ 50-100 yds! This is solid, crystal clear, easy to use, and the adj brightness is spot on. I also appreciate the practicality of the ACSS reticle, and highly recommend this to anyone who’s interested in a quality CQB optic. As a side note, a buddy well acquainted with high end glass joined me and was floored at how well it performed at the range. Obviously, I have not battle tested this, but I have no doubt in its quality. Good job PA!

Buy 2 they are cheap!

This sucker is super clean and nice.

Goid stuff

Awesome sight. Very clear maintained zero. I will buy another for a different rifle.

Customer Service award - 5 Stars

Hands down, best dam customer service i have ever received. I had a problem with a scope, and after talking with the great folks at PA i was told to ship it back so they could look at it. Since they could not fix the problem i got a full refund gift card to the store. Thank you PA, 99% of my orders will come your way from now on.

Why did I wait?

I've been wanting one of these for a year or two and finally pulled the trigger. It's a great optic for AKs. I own many AKs (~10) and usually shoot with iron sights, red dots mounted with RS Regulate mounts and I have one with gas tube (Ultimak rail). This is my first magnified optic for an AK. This optic mounts low (as possible) with the RS regulate system. I was impressed with the clarity of the optic out of the box and the sharp, clear lines of the reticle. The illumination is more than enough, even in daylight. The optic is easy to zero and it is easy to understand the reticle. My number of hits on target at 200 plus yard has increased dramatically. Before ordering, I was concerned about the weight, adding more to an already hefty milled AK. This optic actually balances well. I consider it one of my great purchases for an AK, out of many that have been.....not so great. Don't wait, get it and you'll be glad you did. I mounted this on a Arsenal SAM7r.

Great scope but HEAVY

These are really good optics but the 5X variant is much better and the cost difference is small. REMEMBER, these scopes weigh a damned pound so this is no light weight optic. They are durable as any optic can be and Primary Arms has them for a GREAT price....but they are HEAVY and the 3 power magnification is somewhat limiting even within the acccuracy range limitations of the 7.62X39 round.....the 5X option is the much better buy but this 3X is great if that is all that one can afford or find. Primary Arms also provides this 3X at a truly great price

great scope

As a newbie to the AK platform I am prepared to make some bonehead purchases. This however is not one of them. The reticle is excellent. It is easy to see with my 58 year old eyes (with glasses) The reticle is black when not powered, and when powered it is red. Depending upon the target, generally the non-powered reticle works just fine; the powered red can give you some additional contrast during the day, and of course, is needed for night work. I am using the RS 303M with the AKOG on a RAS47. The mount and extension are easily removed to mate directly to the AKOG mount. I was able to zero this at 50 yards without any significant issues. I did need to mount the AKOG to the 303M at the closest possible position closer to the firearm. This gave me an out of the box horizontal fix. I did need to raise the reticle UP about 10ish clicks to account for the lack of out of the the box mount and extension. I really appreciate the 3X magnification. Plenty of field of view

Great product not too heavy many options on mounting. ACSS reticle woks really well for my tired old man eyes.
