Hold up

GarandThumb puts out an awesome review on this and now we have to wait to buy this! (First world problems I know.)

Great substitute for ACOG.

by

Absolutely love this optic, easy to zero, glass clarity is out of this world. With it being 2x magnification I have no problem engaging targets at distance and targets at CQB. One day when cleaning my rifle, i dropped my upper with this optic on it on to concrete floor straight onto the optic (I’m very clumsy), after crying/dying on the inside. The only damage was the windage turret was dented and had what I guess is “stress cracks”, and small cracks on the mount. I checked zero and the optic was still zeroed where I left it. The optic itself was not affected by getting yeeted into the floor so far. Hopfully the cracks won’t get worse. I 100% want another one. This is a great optic for someone who can’t afford a ACOG or aimpoint.

Good initial impressions

I received this today, but have yet to shoot with it.

* The glass is quite clear and quite sharp. Lots of light getting in, too.
* The eye relief is nice. The specifications say 3.5", but I would say it's more in the 4-5" range.
* The reticle is very sharp and perfectly vertical.
* The last few illumination settings are daylight bright. The final setting, 11, is pretty darn bright. To be honest, I don't see myself turning the illumination on during the day though. You can see the etched reticle great without it.
* I'm really liking the 2x magnification. Really pulls distance shots in, but you can definitely still have both eyes open. My eyes adapted to it very quickly.

It comes with 3 different spacers so you can position the optic at different heights. I get pretty far down on my stock, so I actually wish there was an additional shorter option, but it's not a big deal. You can go without a spacer, but that's a little bit too short.

I Finally Found It....

Wow. This GLX 2X Prism is what I needed. I have tried red dots and LPVO'S and each has its place. But this optic is a true balance. Quality and affordability with a lifetime warranty. Im stoked. I just received it and paired it with my BCM Recce. The construction is just so solid everywhere. The turrets are tight and tactile...I like that. The glass is pristine and bright. And I think they sold it short on eye relief. Im getting more than 3.5" for sure AND the thing has a diopter for gosh sakes! No other product has this many features and value packed in this type of optic. Add to the package my ADM micro QD acog mount and it wont be losing zero. This optic is well beyond daylight bright at 11. Blinding. Im gonna run this thing at 6 and get my 20K hrs battery life with the added "shake awake" feature. And I havent even talked about the ACSS reticle. Those who have used it know. Those who havent must try it. PA killed it on this one. It was absolutely worth the wait.

Great optic!

The optic is great. It's very crisp. Everything about this optic is impeccable except for how little/unforgiving the angle lets you see through it before it goes black. Not as forgiving as reviews made it sound. I hope my Dad likes it this Xmas!

This thing could be used as a hammer!

Being only 16 years old and not making much money I was taking a big gamble buying a near 400$ optic. Ever since I saw how well this performed on my AR10 CQB-Mid distance set up, primary arms has always been my number 1 store for gear.

Great 2x optic!

Just what I was looking for on my SBR build. Have had it for 3 months or so and it's just perfect. Also has some super clean lines which look amazing!

Outstanding optic!

by

I am thoroughly impressed with this optic. Crystal clear glass, 2x power which, in my book, is perfect for an AK, and the excellent ACSS reticle. Finally, the AutoLive feature is a great addition to an already excellent optic.

Great Glass and reticle- not the best quality control on mount

by -

The scope is very clear, the reticle is fast to use, and is daylight bright unlike the PA ACCS FFP 1-6 scope I have that is not day light bright. It makes it easy to hit 8’ steel plates at 200 yards mounted on my 11.5’ 5.56 AR- and is also useable at close ranges.

Unfortunately, one of the two screws attaching the scope to the spacer/mount will not come out no matter how much force I use, so I am unable to put the scope on the quick release scope mount I got with it, or change the spacer heights.
