Love it

by

Clean clear glass
Really good eye relief
Great CQB with both eyes open with a STOOPD bright reticle for even day time.

Versatile, precise, fast

by

I just spent my first day at the range with this scope. I love the clarity and the field of view. Best of all was once I got the scope dialed into my AR's load, I could consistently shoot small groups and hit any clay pigeon chip on the 100-yard backstop by putting it on the tip of the chevron in the reticle. Superfast target acquisition and an excellent reticle for pinpoint precise shot placement. As the sun set, and the shadows took over, the intensity adjustment for the reticle made it easy to keep shooting with precision. I'm VERY happy with my purchase. I will be buying more of these at higher magnifications.

a great buy

Even better than expected- glass is very clear, light transfer very good, eye relief better than others have said and the illumination is awesome...100% daylight bright.

My favorite optic this far

by

Initially zeroed to be an inch high at 100 yards, tuned zero at two hundred and was easily nailing 2/3 size ipsc targets at 300 yards. The glass is so incredibly clear edge to edge. Once the diopter is set the reticle is clear and crisp. I prefer to shoot without the illumination myself but is more than bright enough if you want to shoot with the illumination during the day. Base is simple and rock solid. I'm still trying to figure out how to dial in the BDC, currently, I have to use the 500 yd dot to hit at 300. That's the only reason why I dropped a star. The manual is somewhat vague about zeroing. I think I'll have to dial in 300 next trip. Thanks PA for my favorite optic! I'd take this 2x ACSS over any 4x ACOG any day of the week, and I've spent a lot of time behind ACOGs.

Solid

by

The optic is very well built. Reticle is clear and sharp. Glass is top notch!

Can’t wait to shoot my new AR with this optic!

Wow this is holy shit good!

by -

I am still a novice. Had started with buis and an a2. Had bought an entry level 1-6 optic and thought it was good enough. After reading many articles and videos on the GLX 2x, I took the plunge. This optic is phenomenal. Clear, easy to use, and yes it is daylight bright. The included mount is rock solid. The local range has a 200 yard field and I can put shots in 5" groups all day. A better marksman could short much tighter than me, I am still an entry level shooter. Bottom line, if you are thinking of getting one, buy it.

Hard to beat the PA Prism optics!

by -

In fact the only other optic that I would consider as a replacement is the Trijicon ACOG with the PA ACSS.
The PA prism line of optics is exceptional, and the GLX series is that cut above.

The new GLX 2x is no exception, and the compact light weight design puts it near the top of the lineup.
My only request is to have the ACSS M1 reticle from the 2.5x in this optic!
That would move it to the top of my favorites list, and earn it the full 5 stars it deserves.

Awesome sight

I love this sight. The magnification is perfect and it allows both eyes to be open at the same time. The magnification also helps with better accuracy over 1x sights.

Prefect cross between a scope and red dot

by -

Once you get it position on the gun so your head is always in the eyebox, it's a most as quick as a red dot and only being 2x you can keep both eyes open with some practice. It's clear and crisp works for CQB or 300 yard shot. Quick and easy to use which is a sign of a great product.

Quality for a decent price

by

It’s a pretty good optic for the money. Glass is pretty good. The illumination is daylight bright. The black reticle can wash out sometimes with wooded backgrounds. If I could change one thing I would only have the chevron illuminated. At night in cqb the horseshoe covers up the entire target. Of course the chevron allows for precision at any distance but the horseshoe when illuminated takes up to much of the glass for fast target acquisition when transitioning between targets. A single illuminated chevron would make this lights out fast. Anyway it’s a nice optic that fits a niche roll that I really like. It bridges the gap between an aimpoint and a ta31 which I really enjoy. If I was going back to Ramadi tomorrow and this optic was made on the platinum line assembly plant I’d want this over any optic. For civilian use right now it sits on my go to rifle. That’s over the acog and aimpoints I have. Eyes aren’t as good anymore so this really helps. I have it with a trijicon/bobro mount
