Initial review

Just received this optic and it is fairly nice. I did have a few gripes though. First, scope caps are not included with the optic. I think they should include some type of scope protection for this price. Second, the battery cover was fairly difficult to remove. Initially, I used a quarter to unscrew the cap and marred the cap a bit. I could not get the cap off so I had to file down one edge of the quarter to flatten it out a bit. Once I did that, I had a bit more purchase on the cover and was able to remove it. There is a rubber o-ring on the cap to protect from water damage so that makes it a bit more difficult to take off. This was way more difficult than it should to be. I love the etched reticle, especially once it is illuminated. The additional range markings are fairly small but they state in the manual that they appear small until you look at a target at range (beyond 300 yards). Overall, I like the optic but it has a few short comings.

Great Scope

The scope is daylight bright the glass is so clear and bright. The reticle is small. I didn't know if I would like it after I started shooting with it now I know CQB or long shots no problem. The more I shoot with it the more I like it.
Simply the best.

Better than an ACOG for 7.62x39. I have it on a 16" KS-47ii. Pretty much perfect.

This optic is AMAZING! I have nice red dots and low power variable optics, but from now on this is my go to optic. Optic so clear and precise I felt like I was cheating. I ran this on my RPK, just amazing!
Good optic

The first one I had needed a warranty repair - the etched reticle somehow became bizarrely distorted. This was with normal use - one range trip and otherwise sat in the safe on an AK.
PA replaced the optic no questions asked. They were super responsive and extremely fast. For that I am very appreciative.
As Others have said, the glass has excellent light transmission. The optic does not appear to have any annoying fish eye effect. The ACSS reticle is my absolute favorite, and I really think it is very easy to use and easy to see at 2X magnification. I think this is a good scope, and that every brand has a bad egg once in a while, which is fine. I took off one star simply because of the lack of durability with the first one having a problem that essentially rendered it unusable with that distorted circle dot.
Mounted on RAR 7.62

I removed all risers, and mounted this to a Ruger bolt action American Ranch 7.62x39. Mounted fully rearward gives a large margin for eye relief either direction, and bolt clearance is fine. Height over bore is 5.2cm. The low height over bore makes this a very practical setup for point and shoot out to almost 200m. I was surprised how bright it is at 11, also. The red illumination can overpower a black target in direct daylight.
Nice optic

Its a really nice 2x. Great image quality and light transmission. Usable forgiving eyebox. 1 star off due to my first breaking with light use - reticle shattered so I couldn't even use it. Primary arms replaced it quickly, so good on them for great customer service and standing behind their products. However, the optic isnt as bomb proof as I'd hoped for a Prism.
Perfect optic for my AK Pistol

Own a zpap92 n i love this optic. I wanted a cqb prism optic instead of a red dot bc i didn't want to risk no reticle when batteries die. Durable n holds zero so far. About 500 rds in n also carry in a backpack all day everyday! Love it
Best AK optic yet

I was slightly concerned about eye relief on a magnified optic for close quarters shooting. But the eye relief is great and I may actually be faster with this than a red dot. Just enough magnification to reach out further, but not too zoomed for close quarters. And the reticle is 7.62 specific, AND etched reticle Incase batteries die..: SOLD lol
