This Primary Arms Microdot sight is the second-generation model that comes in at an affordable price while retaining excellent quality and durability. Included is a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail mount with this red dot sight, so you can attach it to your rifle right out of the box in a matter of seconds and head to the range to get it sighted in. Alternatively, the mount is removable and features mounting options for other standard microdot riser mounts, so you can customize the height and co-witness with your iron sights. Adjusting the zero of the dot is made easy with the 1/2 MOA audible click adjustments that are protected by aluminum caps. Also included with this optic is a bikini lens cover to protect the glass when not in use. This micro red dot sight features 1,000 hours of battery life on a single CR2032 battery with 11 different illumination settings that can be quickly cycled through for use at night or on a bright day. This red dot sight is even compatible with night-vision equipment to further extend its range of uses. The 2 MOA red dot is extremely crisp and allows you to take quickly aimed shots at short range while still giving you the ability to make effective shots at medium ranges. PROS:Dot, optics, finish and install more than merely good. Simple to zero, cowitness is a plus, view is crisp. 180 rounds first time out.No problems(used loktite as recommended). CONS: Minimal.Wish it could fit a magnifier on the TWS dogleg/C39 setup because beyond 55-60 yards precision drops a bit for my eyes. ALSO have read others saying bikini cover doesn't fit-just cut it out from about the 7 to 5 position so the caps angle/sit a little over the rail edges.ALSO the install with TWS DOG LEG on C39 required flat head screws, not the round head ones shipped with the unit.NO PROBLEM.Primary Arms was on it with one call and shipped the needed items ASAP no charge priority USPS.Continuing fine service from Primary Arms staff.

Purchased the red dot. Had some trouble with the red dot. No problem. PA sent me a new one lightning fast.There is an old saying that calm seas don't make a good Captain. Well after purchasing products from PA it is invaluable to know that if you have a problem it will be fixed. PA is a good Captain.And I have gone on to purchase a couple more of these red dots due to PA customer service and the quality of the product itself. Not to mention magnifier(s), mounts, etc. And their technical support has been super fast in helping with questions.I am now a dedicated PA customer. Outstanding job PA.
Great optic for the money

Put it on my son's AR 22LR upper. Used the AR riser mount. Makes it more enjoyable for him to shoot especially with my suppressor on the muzzle. Lets him concentrate on his triiger control.

Put this on a Mak-90 with an ultimak. Looks great, functions as advertised. Haven't been to range to see how it holds up. Biggest perk is being able to cowittness.

Really good red dot. I got the PA mount for mine and the front and back sights work perfect with it glad with my purchase. Purchased it for a pistol 300 blackout.
Compares functionally to my Aimpoint

Scope dot is clear and crisp. Easy adjustment. Holds zero so far. Not sure if it can take the beating of an aimpoint, I try not to abuse any of my gear. But it works great. I prefer it to the TRS25 due to the very clean 2moa dot.

So far I am very happy with this red dot for the price. No complaints as of now. I bought this rds for my ar-15 but installed it first on my ruger 22/45 becuase i was curious how i would like shooting a handgun with red dot. Long story short i loved it and will probably be ordering another for the 22/45 but since this gun was bought to practice with open site i moved it over to the ar15 but have yet to get to the range to test it. I foresee no problems. I had a full size primary arms red dot before this one and was very happy.
